Myself and L_Master will be re-casting this at 10pm CET/5pm EDT/NZST. In English, of course Hopefully it'll be at a more reasonable time for everyone not in an Asian or Pacific timezone ;D

They're named 'former CJ' team etc. considering it's what all of the players have written in their bios I doubt that's an issue. They're not using any logos btw, I just added these myself. Overall I think it's just free advertisment for the teams. But eventually they should be renamed when they find a new sponsor.

You know what we do, i.e. you can read both posts in korean in OP. First it was supposed to be the first team to get 5 kills to win, now there's this. Snipe said there have been funny prizes like this in SRTs - like a player that gets 15 consecutive kills gets a car or something. So I assume these prizes are just an extra motivation (for fun) and there's some standard prizepool for the winner, could it be the 2k? And how is winner determined? (clearly not by 5 wins if there's a prize for 15)...We'll have to see, unless you can make out anything else out of the posts..
Btw. the consecutive wins mean won clan wars, not won games if I understand it correctly (and the team that wins a clanwar moves onto the next round). That's how I understood it anyway.

On the other hand, is Sonic going to hand out 2k for every 5 consecutively won games?
Sonic's first post: 프로리그 팀 연승전을 하려고 합니다. 5승 - 200만원 으로 팀 마다 전적을(소스파 개인랭킹처럼) 넣구

There is no actual PL announced, that was just Sonic's hypothetical post asking for feedback posted as a done deal by GTR. What's announced is this, then SSL9 (december), then whatever will follow (possibly more PL attempts).

I love how we are probably gonna have our old pro's who are now playing sc2 trickle back in during the course of the league. There's gonna be so much hype to see how they do when they start returning. Normally new faces are exclusive to breakout players, but for this league most will be known players.
On a side note I hope they start making new maps and the fkin metagame actually develops into something that doesn't resemble 2010 so much...

How does sonic chose new maps? how did wind and cloud get in, i remember reading something about the wind and cloud maker being one that made other proleague maps so hopefully he can submit some news too for this league.

Wind and Cloud was made by Rose.of.Dream., also the mapmaker of none other than Fighting Spirit. I just happen to be stalking this guy on Facebook though and I can tell you he's probably way too busy to be making any more maps. Maybe he still has some leftover projects though. There are of course other mapmakers, sometimes they'll just post a map to Sonic's facebook wall. Sometimes foreigners do that too. I don't know if there's someone Sonic would be directly cooperating with. I think after the new maps in STL (SBWI TeamLeague) get tested a bit more it might be worth a shot recommending some of the new ones.
New team lineups! Notable changes: ZerO added to KHAN's roster. :D JangBi removed from KHAN's roster. (T.T) PianO added to KHAN's roster. Jaehoon moved to KHAN from MBC. Hi moved to Sonic All-Stars from KHAN. Shinee moved to Sonic All-Stars from KHAN.
I'm not sure if Jaehoon is playing for KHAN or SKT. In Sonic's post he has Jaehoon listed in place of pure and also placed him on KHAN. I think that means Pure is still playing, but I'm not sure. :/ Also Shinee (김재현) and Jaehoon (김재훈) might be the misunderstanding, but Shinee is listed as 샤이니 under SAS.

Oz is gonna be awesomely strong with this lineup, that's a very deep roster, even if you look away from the minidong! Also Sonic, the man himself plays for the amateur team? I didn't know he was good enough to keep up tbh. Also im lazy: is this an allkill format or not?
€: thx to Stratos. So i can safeley bet SKT whenever they play. Bisu ->>> all. j/k
China says they'd be willing to donate some (easily in the thousands usd I'd guess) money to have their players play in SPL, but the issue is obviously lag as we've seen with Fengzi and Zhanhun in the past SRTs
I expect hoon is on khan, clearly pure is on skt (he's playing today) and MBC have 6 players to everyone elses 5 - and khan's 4 if they don't have pure.

No. Jaehoon is back on MBC. He was put on SKT yesterday (Pure was the one put on Khan) but last night Sonic put both of them back into their original teams.

About Jat clan? Not sure why Starcue dissolved it. He's the clan master. Happened slightly over a week ago. White clan already has too many pros so the MBC folks requested a move to Neox and since Terror is in Neox too, they can participate in more clan matches and increase stream viewership.

This is a sort of trial event, all online. Studio is a newish development but if there was a full blown teamleague then I'm sure some of it (playoffs? finals?) would take place in the studio. I guess it depends how sonic has felt the trial league has gone. There have been plenty of last minute changes and scheduling troubles, which has worked fine for the KOTH format, but wouldn't be sustainable in a week by week proleague.
news: Light (ex-POS/MBC/Woongjin) joins the SPL KT squad, which we haven't seen play yet. Hint has been playing for KHAN, and just like that we'll probably see KT play soon.
Most probably it's winner of today's match (Oz vs KHAN) vs MBC tomorrow, but that's just Sonic's word on cast, LR and calendar event will be up whenever Sonic makes it official.
he's been posting the announcements a few hours before the casts but if we're lucky enough we might see another surprise team switch 5 minutes into it!
Piano, Light, Mind, damn we finally got us some Terrans.
Now Zerg players.....well ZerO is nice. We need Hoejja!
Hopefully the scene is strong enough in 2 years that we get to see horang2 and Best coming back to play. And Beast is really proving himself to be a respectable player, much needed for fresh blood.

I mean in terms of the format rather than date. I imagine that the team that loses waits until everyone else has played then gets their turn again, but I can't work out how many games it's been hah.
I think they should be next up, but then there's also KT who recently acquired Light so they might play first. Either way it should be soon, next game or the one after, assuming Sonic wants to close out round 2.
It is possible one of these guys will be sent to KT, who still haven't been able to play a match. I don't see PianO and ZerO splitting up which makes Hint the most likely candidate.
Furthemore, the post says that currently 5 of the SPL teams are "receiving sponsor(ship)": SKT, MBC, Hwaseung, KHAN, CJ. I think Sonic says he'll deliver some more info on that once it's a done deal, so this is probably in the making. Earlier, Sonic proposed the teams would take on new names once they acquire new sponsors.
Sonic announced KT up next tomorrow on cast and then changed it to "CJ or Hwaseung". Even that doesn't mean much, we've seen him change this multiple times. Either way I submitted event for KT which clearly/probably isn't happening. -______________________-
I won't be here in the morning when Sonic usually makes the official announcements and I'll be running late to LR as well, so whoever can plz take care of it!

Same story tomorrow -__- I'll try to add a calendar event and update the LR template in the morning if Sonic makes the announcement early enough like he did today.
Okay, so it's SKT vs CJ today. It's announced at like 5 different places so I don't think it's Sonic's mistake, though it's entirely possible STX will play in the end. If not, I think it's the first time the winning team doesn't move on, probably because STX is unavailable but Sonic wants to make something happen since Carry said he'd come. Either way I guess we can use that to refer to this as "round 3" considering round 2 became an awful mess with teams playing multiple times etc.
stx is not playing because they(terror) denied the challenge to go for more wins. instead terror decided to take the money price of 2000dollars for the team. moreover sonic PL is not going to happen today since sonic doesnt feel good~it is postponed.

well, yesterday he announced midas and SSL sponsorship and he's all like *i'm so happy i could fly* *on a day like this i just feel like dancing* i guess he did all that but then + Show Spoiler +
Looking forward to seeing KT in action some time soon. SOSPA really needs more Terran and Mind looked in really good form last night watching him stream. Mind, Ample and Light will be a pretty intimidating line up if they are even remotely good condition.
Is he going to be there for all future team matches now? Because...that would be seriously awesome. He's been on for the last few Sonic proleague matches.

Tomorrow is probably KHAN vs CJ, Kim Carry co-cast. I'll submit event in the morning and update the lr template. I won't be able to LR these from now on. I should be back in time for LoL (lovetv) casts an hour later so I'll LR that.
Does anyone know when Round 2 started? Currently on Liquipedia we suspect R2/W1/D1 (previously R1/W6/D1) to be starting either R2 or R3. It is uncertain when R2 started if it started before this match. One possibility is that R2 started when STX or CJ (the first two teams to play) had their second chance at becoming King. Did Sonic mention this before?
Sonic just calls it 15/16/17th match etc. iirc there was an occasion where one team didn't get to play in a "round", instead it was replaced by another one which did but was available.
if R2 starts here: 11월 20일 STX(주장철구) VS CJ(CJ주장 윤찬희) - 밤9시 - STX 승리 11월 21일 STX (주장철구) VS sonic (소닉팀주장 bj소닉) - 밤9시 - 소닉팀승리 11월 22일 oz(화승 구성훈 주장) VS sonic (소닉팀 주장 BJ소닉) - 밤 9시 - 화승팀 승리 11월 26일 oz(화승 구성훈 주장) VS khan (삼성팀 주장 박성준) - 밤 9시 - 삼성팀 승리 11월 27일 khan(삼성 박성준 주장) VS MBC (MBC 주장 박지호) - 밤9시 - MBC 승리 what's this: 11월 28일 sonic (소닉 소닉 주장) VS MBC (MBC 주장 박지호) - 밤9시 - MBC승리
does that work? shouldn't like SKT play then?
then there was this:

I think it's best if you liquipedia guys decide whatever you like and let us know. Sonic is probably trying to make sure all teams get to play in a *round* but if there's a scheduling issue he just fixes it how he can.
Winner of today vs most likely MBC tomorrow. Since even Love confirmed that I feel like making a calendar entry earlier, but don't be shocked if it turns out to be a fail.

So yeah, no SPL today. Tomorrow is SKT vs KT. I'll just link people to this post next time they complain the calendar is late lol.
So tomorrow is probably MBC vs KT, since SKT is unavailable. Then SKT plays the winner of that on Friday.. Or something like that. We'll just have to wait and see as always.
Lol messed up your name so bad sorry. Anyway to those who don't follow the ssl9 threas, sonic should announce the sponsor for ssl9 prolly by the end of the cast, so stay a while after for some possible lulz/tears.
2AM in Korea and no update regarding tomorrow afaik. The schedule states winner of today vs KT, but we all know how these plan usually work out. I'll update tomorrow morning.
More news: It's the 23rd battle today and the SPL will go on to about 27-30 total. Sonic also uses the opportunity to reshare pics of afreeca BJ chicks wearing SBENU, Sonic's own shoe brand.
Meanwhile, Sonic opened his 2nd and 3rd SinbalFarm store and aims to open 30 more across the country in the next 14 years.

That's really good, I was afraid that he had no time for his primary business because of SOSPA. Thanks for the news Stratos.
Looks like this is over. Next week a PL all-stars tourney will start, 20 best performing players from SPL will form 4 teams with balanced races distribution.
Does anyone want to take over the LRs for this one or the next two days after that? I'll be here and I can do it but I could spend the time working on something else for SSL.
Sonic opens the new year with a change in schedule. It's Oz vs KHAN today. I did not see that coming, and by that I mean I actually didn't =............= asking for a change in the calendar/remaking the LR template if there's someone who wants to take over for me today. plz.
1/2 is winner vs MBC and 1/3 winner vs STX but I don't know why I even bother writing that out, we'll just have to wait and see on each day.
