I never understood what was the reason for "killing" the original small VOD thread. I dont want to sound rude, but I somehow always connected it with some people trying to kill BW so that SC2 could progress. But now as we see BW is still alive. So why two threads? The new leagues are proffesional, have sponsors etc.
I think the small VOD threads 1.0 and 2.0 should be combined to have one big thread - I know this might be hard from technological point of view, but definitely feasible.
You come to this forum and you dont see the beautiful BW history - it remains hidden.

I didn't realize there's a 1.0 thread lol.

Almost four million views and over 9000 replies speak to its greatness, especially when you consider that posting anything other than a VOD link post or a thank you was prohibited. However, with professional Korean BW coming to an end last year, we've reached the end of an era. Combine this with the fact that the old thread has become too cluttered, the first post now largely irrelevant and littered with dead links, the time has come to retire this sacred ground on TL....
Well, now you understand the reasoning...

Professional Korean BW did not come to an end IMHO.

Well, actually it did. All these sonic leagues are considered amatuer leagues. TLPD lists all these active players as "retired." You can argue the point if you want, but people like 2pac are the ones who actually do the work so they can make those kind of decisions to close a thread and start a new one. If you wanna see vods from the "pro BW era" than just go to the old small vod thread...

I think as long as the first VOD thread is easily visible, it's fine to keep them separate. Two separate eras, and keeping them separate should make it easier to find. (I want to watch a VOD... Kespa era or post-Kespa, then choose thread.)

From my point of view, with this move at least 450 pages of BW history were deleted and SC2/other game people might not even know that the thread existed.

2.0 refers to 1.0 in the first sentence. if they find 2.0, they will find 1.0, and if they dont find either, they aren't looking.
not a good reason to consolidate them.

I hate BW and this was my plot to bury it so SC2 can thrive!
