Something I've been curious about for a while.
So, I'm a D- player. If I tried to play a pro, I would be smashed.
But, with a UMS map with enough cheats or mods tilting the game in my favor, I could beat anyone, even Flash (jokes about how he's so good he'd kill my units anyway aside).
What is the threshold, though? What is the minimum amount of cheating that I could beat a top player with? I think I could win with infinite money, because I could 4pool 3expand 2hatch 1hatch and squeeze out a few drones before my pool was half done, then burrow one of my lings to keep my opponent to one base while I rushed 4hatch Mutas into A-move.
If all my units were replaced with hero units, that probably wouldn't be enough, though.
What's the amount of cheats where a D- player like me could beat an A player about half the time?

power overwhelming.

He said to win half the time, not all the time.

pay someone to smurf for you.

Not even on lsd I would ask myself this type of question -_- but thinking seriously about it I think the minimum cheat you need to win is show me the money.
There was an old rep where boxer played a hacker who had that type of cheat, and he got rushed by pool4 way too early for him to counter it, he then lifted rax and scouted zerg to check what was up with that early rush. It was on LT.

Assuming power overwhelming can't be used, I assume you could still win at least half the time with either show me the money (to build your first few buildings earlier, giving you a good 1-2 minute window to rush him) or even operation cwal (to let your proxies and units finish instantly, thus also giving you an earlier timing window). These cheats really do break the game; I think only one is needed.

As far as i know, operation cwal works for all players, so i don't think that would give you much of an advantage to be honest. i feel he can react much faster than usual, so the surpise effect of cheeses is less effective. Besides, using operation cwal makes little sense unless you're cheesing, so it gives away your strategy as well.
I think doing 'something for nothing' x times would work well with a lot of well executed cheeses.

No cheat would allow you to beat someone who is "A level half the time". This is like one of the silliest things you could have asked.

we beat hackers all the time so like, what's up?

Totally never knew that :D Although if it did only work for you, I don't think it would matter too much if Flash knew you were proxying, since the barracks will only take 2 seconds to build and each marine comes out instantly too. You can't stop the scv from building the raxes. Heck, you could probably just drop one rax right in the middle of his base.

There is no cow level, game automatically ends, and you win. So you would actually be able to win 100% of the time unless you hit a typo and your opponent had on operation cwal , power overwhelming, is A+, and proxy 2gating in your main.
In all seriousness......this is a really dumb question. Play better, Get better. Win.
You lose you learn. You win, you applied what you learned in order to win.
Unless you are planning on being a BlackSheepWall (Maphacker) THEN JUST GET BETTER AND STOP WITH THIS NONSENSE!!!

I have a hard time believing anyone can beat a 4 pool with +1/+1 cracklings

I think we need to ask TT1...

infinite money should be enough

not sure D- could beat A consistently even with infinite money

Ribbon you are a cool guy, but this is the worst thread ever.

That's your strat with infinite money? You would play zerg with infinite money? Very ineffective. Play toss for the easy win.
Maybe you can play zerg with infinite money + NR 12 minutes or something.

D- can't even spend a normal amount of money properly, how can they spend infinite money?
