Prior to today's finals, I studied every TvT VOD of Last since his debut. I discovered that his play was predictable every time. I was able to win today because I targeted those predictable parts. Dedication to Starcraft right here. o.o Q: It reminded us of (T)Fantasy. Did you get any special advice from him? A: After I advanced to the finals, I privately met with Fantasy. He didn't help me with practice, but he recommended some builds and cheered me on. Shades of FanTaSy were everywhere on those games. Jung Laden! Thanks for translating sir!

Mr. Wi Yeonggwang, the chief producer (CP) at Ongamenet, said in a recent interview that he was stunned to see that the public's interest in the Sbenu StarLeague was as hot as their interest in League of Legends (!!!), which is the hottest eSport in Korea at the moment. He also warned that he wasn't sure if this was sustainable, but I think it's quite significant that Mr. Wi compared Sbenu StarLeague to LoL. The fact that Season 2 is planned does seem to indicate that the numbers were good enough.

Now all we need is sponsors to return to funding pro gaming houses for BW and nothing is lost.

Afreeca numbers seem to be 30,000 simultaneous viewers and 200,000 cumulative viewers (which counts the total number of users who visited Sonic's channel). We can probably add the numbers for any pro gamer who was streaming at that time since they were all watching Sonic's stream with their fans. This doesn't count the OGN TV viewership or viewers on other platforms. An interesting thing I read in the news: OGN said that while it is mostly sure that it can keep StarLeague on OGN as long as the sponsorship money keeps flowing, it couldn't say that with 100% certainty because broadcasting BW is a "sensitive issue" with regards to their "business relationship with Blizzard." I hope they'll work things out in advance so that this doesn't become a problem.

Sueing KeSPA for broodwar was probably the worst thing blizzard could have done. Not only did they damage the BW scene they also put off some people from transitioning into SCII.
