Hello TL,
I recently wrote an article (link) about the OSL in the German Wikipedia (not Liquipedia) which will be featured in the section "Schon gewusst?" (translates into "Did you know...") including a picture of the Golden mouse trophy tomorrow. (proof)
I'm writing this, because I thought maybe one of the TL community members, who reads this and understands the German language could doublecheck/proofread it very quickly, because the article will probably be seen by a few thousand people tomorrow and I dont want it to have false or misleading information.
I hope its k to put this rather weird request here, but it seemed like the most fitting sub-forum... in case its not, feel free to move it.

There is no proof "competition" with the GSL was the reason OSL dropped SC2, since the GSL had always been a marginal tournament with respect to the OSL. OSL was by far the biggest and most prestigious tournament.

Halbfinals -> Halbfinale
Furthermore I don't know if wikipedia has a policy concerning Korean names but I think it would be better to write the names in hangul first followed by the romanized names (이영호 Lee Young-ho).
Lastly I would remove the "10.000.000 ₩ entsprechen rund 7.000-8.000 €" since it fluctuates. (2000: 1€ = 1000 ₩, 2009 1€ almost 2000₩)

Found nothing else. Nice Article and congratulations on getting the front page of Wikipedia
edit: typos
edit: maybe you could integrate viewer numbers to highlight the popularity of the sport? If they are to find anywhere in the internet, of course

Thanks so far for the feedback.

not sure if i understand... in the table thats exactly how its written, isnt it? To my knowledge the only WIkipedia convention regarding korean names is, that the third part is written with lower case (Lee Jae-dong, not Lee Jae-Dong or Lee Jae Dong)

not sure if they were really teamless or if the internet just lacks information about which team they were in, so i prefered writing nothing at all.

I meant in the text but nevermind I looked at the articles for Park Geun-hye and Kim Jong-un and using just the romanization seems to be the norm.

Can't contribute any corrections but the article itself looks well organized and good!
I hope it gives BW some more exposure
Cheers for writing it!

Added that.

Wow, very nice idea and a great article! Hopefully many will read this and find some interest in BW, if they haven't heard of it yet.
Not sure, but might it be worth mentioning that a few years after the OSL has stopped broadcasting BW that many former progamers started streaming their games on afreeca? So people know that it is by all means not a dead game due to the fact it was released in 1998.

Looking good

It's nice to see things like this being done to promote a game/esports history, despite the fact I can't understand a word of it
Good initiative.
