It was only after I won the aforementioned tournament in Seoul and won $300 that he okayed my career plans. I gave him $200 from my prize money at that time.
just wondering what was the exact amount of money he got?

I think that it's 50-50. There are many other scary Zerg players such as Soulkey, Shine, and Hydra who do not stream on Afreeca. It could be any one of them. shouldn't have said hydra, its nearly impossible for that to be true, its crazy of me to think that he has that much time to play BW games(especially the level and number of games jiko/424 plays) while also playing SC2 and qualifying for WCS finals at Blizzcon. nice try but you're not gonna throw us off with that. If it actually isn't JD the hype would be gone instantly -.-

Wouldn't it be obvious for a pro to fingerprint if it is Jaedong or not based on any replay? I don't think his main patterns would have changed too much from SC2. Honestly, I think everyone believes (with a wink and a nudge after each denial) that jiko/424 is Jaedong. My guess is that they are protecting Jaedong with misdirection when they can. It seems ridiculous, but the moment it becomes official, the amount of nonsense he would have to deal with would increase exponentially. Remember that they tried to protect Flash this way, too. Based on what I heard from ZerO, it's not Soulkey. Based on Shine working during some jiko/424 games, it's not him. Based on what others have said about Hydra's schedule, it's not him. Of course, it may be the case that several gamers are sharing the same account, but that is a whole new wrinkle that would give me a headache to consider.

Personally, I would love to see more of that balloon-money being directed towards tournaments. The winnings from the ASL was pitiful compared to what they make on streaming. If the ASL is going to be a long term thing, then you need more financial incentives. Of course, the personal donations should not be confiscated. They have the right to donate to whatever cause they want, but maybe Afreeca should add some tournament pool that you can donate to. If that option was available, I think many ppl would donate differently.

It's true that he wasn't on the same level as Calm and Kal, but except when they played their absolute best, he was not far behind. (Small gripe: The fonts colours are too bright, and compounded with the black background, really straining on the eyes. Please consider using softer colour tones next time, thanks!)
