This seems like a silly statement, it's still very easy to get games on ICCup. However this may not be a suitable environment for someone totally new to the game. @OP If you are looking for other people new to the game you might be better off with one of the Blizzard servers. If you ask kindly you might also get an invite to Shieldbattery (TLs own creation) which is a nice server to start learning on. Until patch 1.18 is fully ironed out I would support not playing on the Blizzard servers though.

If you want to be sure you're playing bad people dodge anyone with a good record and play them most people with good records are C? or better on Iccup id wager and you'll probably have a bad time

If you wanna go for easy access and fun BGH and UMS games, go to US WEST, if you want to play competitive in a ladder environment, play on ICCup, if you're a rare talent and speak korean fluently, play on FISH

You'll have a harder time to find somebody suitable to teach/mentor you at the game, as most mid-level veterans still play iccup. If you wanna go for easy access and fun BGH and UMS games, go to US WEST, if you want to play competitive in a ladder environment, play on ICCup, if you're a rare talent and speak Korean fluently, play on FISH Just to be fair you don't have to speak fluent Korean to play on FISH. A simple 'gogo' or 'gg' will suffice.

Only enter rooms named noob/beginners only on USW servers. It's really hit or miss, you either get someone with 200up APM or someone who rushes mass scouts.

If you're an absolute noob then exploring the free ranges of USE/USW/whatever your region is probably the best option. Unfortunately, as others have said, there is no regulation on how good a person is that joins your games. You just put noob in the title and hope for the best. The other issue is that "noob" means different things to different people. "noob" is a relative term. Ultimately, if you want consistent 1v1 practice that might actually help you improve, then go get ROFLstomped on ICCup or Fish as heynes said. If you want to just dick around with other noobs and still get ROFLstomped by a noobstomper once in a while, play on regional Battle.net servers. If you want to talk to some noobs and vet them to decrease your chance of getting ROFLstomped, then join a community like this one: https://discord.gg/8TSawTY
