If they wanted to know for sure, why didn't they just check the gg-timing tho?

The relationship between FanTaSy and Flash used to be a very one sided affair until 2010. 1) Flash was much better head-to-head, having a 14-6 (70%) record versus FanTaSy. It would have been even worse if FanTaSy hadn't pushed Flash to the limit in their semi-finals best-of-five that was played out to five full games in mid-2010. 2) Flash was a five time champion, whereas FanTaSy had zero individual titles to his name. 3) Flash overwhelmed FanTaSy in the ProLegue, both in terms of overall number of wins and win percentage. Things became more even after 2011. 1) FanTaSy started to get into Flash's head, and after years of studying Flash's playstyle and potential weaknesses, he was able to turn the tables, having a dominant record of 4-1 (80%) versus Flash in games played after 2011 (including the famous 3-0 sweep in the semi-finals played in 2012, not "around" 2010). 2) Flash did win ABCMart MSL, but wasn't able to reach the finals in any other individual leagues that was completed post 2011. FanTaSy, on the other hand, was able to reach three consecutive OGN StarLeague finals in a row during this period. 3) Flash was still more of a force in the ProLeague, but in the last ever pure Brood War ProLeague, SK Planet 2011/2012 ProLeague, FanTaSy was able to hit a better overall win rate with a record of 14-2 (87.5%), compared to the slightly lower win rate Flash had with a record of 19-5 (76.17%). 4) In August 2012, FanTaSy finally replaced Flash as the number one ranked player in the KeSPA rankings, just as professional Brood War came to a close after more than a decade. So it's kind of fallacious to say that FanTaSy took down Flash during his absolute peak, because while Flash was still one of the very best, he was no longer in god-mode like he once was in 2010. You could still argue that Flash was the best player overall post-2010, but it wasn't as clear cut as it used to be. I personally believe that the title of the best player in the scene would eventually have gone to one of the players who were rumoured to be very best players during practice from the following teams: SK Telecom T1: By.Sun Samsung Khan: JangBi KT Rolster: Flash CJ Entus: Hydra Woongjin Stars: Soulkey STX SouL: BoGus Team 8 and Air Force ACE were complete shit teams with no future, so the best players from these teams wouldn't have had much of chance of becoming the best player overall. I have heard various accounts of FanTaSy, or Bisu coming out on top during in-house practice tournaments, but I do believe most accounts give By.Sun doing the best towards the very end.

If Brood War had kept going strong, I don't think Fantasy, Jangbi, or anyone would have held down the Flash train for too long. While it is unfair to assume that FanTaSy would have sustained his place at the top after knocking Flash off the perch, it is a disservice to FanTaSy to blame Flash's relative lack of results on Starcraft 2, even if it could be true. It is all an assumption, and it's as useful as saying NaDa would have won even more titles if he didn't spend so much time playing Sudden Attack. Further more, the following is the number of new professional gamers recruited by the teams by year (with championship winning players listed): 2005: 45 (Bisu, Luxury, Calm) 2006: 91 (Mind, Jaedong, ForGG, JangBi) 2007: 88 (Flash, EffOrt, FanTaSy) 2008: 87 (Hydra) 2009: 63 2010: 49 2011: 39 2012: 9 If the Brood War scene was still going strong, with a healthy influx of new talent (which wasn't the case towards the dying years of Brood War), it is a possibility that Flash might have been displaced as the best player in the scene, even if it wasn't at the hands of FanTaSy. Just because Flash is dominating the current AfreecaTV scene (mainly made up of professional players recruited between 2006 and 2010), doesn't mean that Flash would have remained unstoppable if the professional scene was as vibrant as it once was.

But seriously, it would be awesome if he came back. Hopefully he is able to compete at a high level again. If he does in fact, decide to lace up his BW boots again.

We all know how close Oov was to Fantasy and Oov heavily criticised Bisu for leaving SKT1 and streaming BW. I'm pretty sure Fantasy simply said that to please Oov. But given that Oov himself has moved on to LoL now, Fantasy can openly play/stream BW. However, Fantasy enlisted in September of 2016 so unless they moved him to a desk job where he can go home on the weekends etc, I highly doubt he has the time to play BW.

I read somewhere (Afreeca feed thread maybe..?) that Fanta is doing his service as a policeman or smth like that. So it is possible that it is him playing.

Yeah, it was there, I mentioned in that thread that he appeared at a SCII thing (GSL final maybe?) and I think it was GTR who replied that he had a day off but otherwise he's serving as a policeman who, theoretically could play 3 games / day. My question is: how do they know this mysterious handle's hotkey setup?
