Or the A- Smurfs
I wish they would take ICCUP's rating system and get that over, I really wanted to hit C- and eventually B-.
Hopefully we get a good equivalent on Remaster.

yeah, so much this. Iccup really helped the community, but OMG thank you so much blizzard for Remastered and all the perks that came with it.

really appreciated iccup back in the days! But yeah, the smurfs gone is great! And I hope remastered implements some sort of D+/C-/C etc equivalent.

That's also a worst time to check Iccup numbers. Most users play late evening CET (20-23 CET)

How is the smurf problem gone? You can just create a new account too and your MMR is reset. Am I missing something here?

I never got past C- (T player here) but I feel like I'm much better in reality. Somehow once I reach C- I meet people who are way better than me. Or maybe I'm just bad.

They should really have made ICCUP an official gateway, at least as a thank you for helping the foreign SC community for so long.

Agreed. Iccup was what kept BW alive. And they allready did it for fish.

Thank you ICCUP for all the fun in those past years. I'll never understand why people keep nagging about port forwarding. The only excuse I can think of is that you do not know your router's username, password. Other than that I don't know. There are plenty of tutorials online.

I think it's more just that it was annoying.
Why type your programs on a keyboard rather than flipping individual bits with metal switches like on an Altair 8800?

ICCUP has been holding a big part of the community active for a very long time, but looks like this is the end.
GG WP!

it was good to have ICCup, played a lot on it, but I'm happier now that public servers are back

Still had LAG when i was playing. Also had a really hard time finding games. Creating games. Joining games. I despise iccup for this reason.

I've never liked iCCUP and I always hated how little the admins were hamstrung due to the developers with the BW side as everything was pointed at the DOTA system. Max x maps of the week each week, lots of good maps not being motw anymore as they could only have x maps on the system. I was lucky that I could host, but the amount of work to even find a game when I couldn't was terrible.
I'm glad to see the back of it. Same goes to Fish.

Maybe every player who's playing now on official gateways continue hitting iCCup at least once a week it won't become dead? It's still playable and fun. Just download separate 1.16.1 for iCCup purposes and enjoy old battle.net UI with nostalgia.

Good bye iccup and thank you. I've got lots of issues with scr at the moment so 1.16 is still much better for me so I'm gonna miss iccup for sure. Going forward however scr is definitely the way to go .....
