"Mess up once get fucked for life"?? He didn't "mess up", he knew what he was doing, he got multiple other people involved in match fixing, "get fucked for life" how? He can't play StarCraft, he can do literally anything else but play the one game that he cheated in. StarCraft isn't even as big of a deal anymore as it was during when he played, it's time to move on for him.
Yeah he made a mistake, that's what I would call messing up. Do you honestly believe he doesn't regret what he did? And yes he is fucked for life. Choosing to become a progamer pretty much means you don't have a shot at any other career. He is driving limos now and that's pretty much one of the best jobs a pro gamer is gonna get. Besides when he went to the military, he has never stopped playing. He obviously still loves the game. He is fucked for life in the sense that he will never be able to do the one thing he is good at again.
Besides, this is completely off topic and the Korean community will never allow him to compete again anyway.

He's doing perfectly fine, actually better than most -VOD So please don't fret over Savior, "the broker behind the match fixing that demolished the BW scene". Also, he was exempt from his military obligations (Bad Knee)

You tell me. I guess its this new blue, red whatever, pill meme. They blame feminism for everything

Making a mistake would be something that you either didn't know was not allowed, or did something by accident. He did something HE KNEW was illegal and banned, for MONEY. If you pick a career that means you "don't have a shot at any other career" maybe you should not throw away it like that? He fucked himself up. Would you let a convicted child molester work at an elementary school or kindergarten? A convicted embezzler to work as an accountant?

This is not the time or place to debate Savior and his punishment. Go to the other threads or create a new one - but I must say that the topic has been discussed time and time again.

my apologies

Yeah i was just asking if the qualifiers are totally open, or if there are people who's banned, like Savior. I also gave my thougths about over used and shitty "new" maps, which are the same things used like 10 years ago with just minor changes

90% of the people who try to "defend" or advocate for savior are usually the ones who only do so to be contrarian or just give sympathy to someone they're barely aware of.
he's a bastard. he's never apologized. his own coach put his career and crediblity on the line defending him in public and in the media, passionately saying that it was not in his character to cheat.
incredibly shameful. and he milked his old fans for luxury beauty products for years before he was banned from streaming.

I don't give a crap how he's in his personal life, all what i care about is how he plays, i only know the savior i saw on TV. But Coreans seem to care too much about people they barely known rigth?(unless you are a relative, or friend of him you can't type shit either). and i was just asking, because i don't really know if the qualifiers are open for EVERYONE or not

Does anyone happen to know if you need korean citizenship/alien card for the qualifier? I would get absolutely rekt in the first match, but could be a fun experience nonetheless.

ASL is back on track finally! Glad to hear that.
|
|
Sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting. 9 days is a long time to wait for the ASL.
|
Any idea which patch they're gonna be playing on? There have been a bunch of updates/bug fixes in the last couple weeks with another one around the corner..
|
I hope they keep the new ladder map pool the same as the ASL map pool or whatever the most premiere tournament happens to be at the time.
