So I few weeks ago I finished an enhanced version of Insurrection, mostly fixing the broken stuff, making it less annoying and adding some new features. http://www.moddb.com/games/starcraft/addons/starcraft-insurrection-remastered I shared it on the official forums and the subreddits, and Pr0nogo told me I should share it here too. If you've been looking for Insurrection here it is, but better than before.

So far works very well thank you so much for sharing!!

Can you be more specific about what changes you did? I would like to see a list of them.

I got the same question in the SC Forum, so I can luckily copypaste the same answer without writing all of that again: There were a bunch of broken triggers, I fixed them and polished the ones that weren't broken but just poorly made, there were a lot of unused audios, I used some of them if I managed to make them fit, I polished the dialogue, I changed the layout of some maps, I made too easy maps harder and too hard maps easier, I added an alternate version of one map, I added a couple Easter Eggs, I buffed almost every hero and added some new heroes, and I added a lot of new stuff in some maps. Also the infamous 'Destroy all enemy buildings' maps now you only need to destroy the production structures, as one of the mayor complaints was how you could spend 10 extra minutes in a map just hunting down Missile Turrets, Photon Cannons and Colonies in the middle of nowhere. And there's some consistency fixes such as factions having the proper name in the score screen (some of them even had the default Force X) and heroes, aside from being buffed, now have always the same stats as originally they changed from mission to mission for no reason, this only breaks when you have to kill a hero, then it becomes much stronger.

You better have left Devours Children intact =P Best heroin any game ever, a crackling with the stats of Torrasque lol
In the last Protoss level, do you still need to cheese pylons/shield batteries in order to win the duel?
And when you need to kill heroes, does that level have extended time? I remember it being a struggle to finish in the limit, can't imagine how hard it would be with buffer heroes.

He's even crazier now. Also look for 'Rise of Devours Children' on YouTube, the first campaign I made, based around him cause he's just the best.

For the last Protoss level yes, you still have to cheese it, though the intention, even by Aztec New Media themselves, is just to EMP him. In the mission where you have to kill all the heroes that wasn't a time limit, it just marked the arrival of some enemy waves.

Oh man I'm such an idiot on both counts, that never occurred to me at all lol. I'll keep that in mind when I run through your campaign
You sold me by demonstrating your understanding of the awesomeness that is Devours Children. True leader of the swarm right there, would mop the floor 1v1 with Xel'Naga Kerrigan. I'm gonna check out your campaign when I can.
Might be a stupid question but can this be played on Remastered or do I need the old patch?
