Probably the most active foreigner starcraft discord community, and we have a fairly active group of zergs who are willing to offer advice and coaching in our zerg strategy channel.

My practical advice mostly comes down to disciplining yourself. Practice is a necessary part of improving. So first you need to work on the fundamentals. I would advise you to start figuring out what kind of hotkey layout works for you as soon as possible, as this is crucial for higher level play. For example: 1, 2, 3, 4 for unit control and 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 for Hatcheries. Maybe you always use 1 for Zerglings and 4 for Lurkers. The less you have to consciously think about it, the better. Whatever the layout is, make sure it feels comfortable and enables you to exert as much control over your game as possible. Somebody posted the Translated Pro Video thread. Check out Jaedong's lesson for F ranked players; he explains his hotkey layout. You can find a breakdown of the "standard" ZvT build here: 3 Hatch Muta (vs. Terran) Practice this build against the computer. A lot. Do it. With this build you will be forced to employ Zerg's most effective tactics, and as your execution gets better so will your understanding of the race. Try to pretend that you are against a real person and set goals for yourself. Maybe in the beginning you just want to get to defiler and win. Cool. After that you can try to win with only "Mutalisk micro", etc. Practicing builds and timings before you hit the ladder will help you a lot. Last of all, always make sure you are thinking when you play. This seems like a stupid thing to say, but trust me, it is easy to just go through the motions sometimes without actually realizing what you are doing. Always ask yourself why you are doing something, think about what your opponent might be doing. The harder you focus, the more you will start to see where your weaknesses lie, and then you can shore up those weaknesses. PM me if you want some in-game advice. I am online quite a bit and would be happy to get you started.
