Anyone know what this is? What's going on? This might be a stupid question, but got a bit curious if it has anything to do with BW (so far they're just chatting with painted-on moustaches).
It has 21k veiwers and is under "Zeus" (protoss) on the BW streaming list.
Sorry if this is a stupid question. Didn't know where else to ask.

Well Zeus is a BW ex-pro, still listed in BW section but he's doing more variety/entertainment streaming (like Sea).
Yup, Zeus still plays a ton of BW but he also runs other stuff on his channel
Sea is also currently at 20k viewer it seem (can't go see what he is doing tough)
Don't unfeature those please, I can't understand a word but when I tune in I like trying to understand wtf is going on, also it seems like a nice way to observe Korean culture
Sea was getting a ton viewers too this week, about 30k a stream..
Just to make it clear, Zeus is now playing StarCraft with 2600 viewers.
Everytime these guys bring chicks to their stream their viewership skyrockets... it's pretty annoying tbh
If there only was a place where streamers could hire chicks to get on their streams. That's a race to the bottom I'd gladly watch.
Last's stream is pretty good, with the Last Starleague. If someone catched the Larva Dragoon imitation.. it was priceless! Woth 1k balloons right there ;-)
begs the question.. why does sea get 20k viewers all the time? is he seen as a martyr or something? why so relevant..

You're right. I guess it's just that as a foreigner I don't understand the context when I see those kinds of streams... I expect to see starcraft games when i click on their stream link. Instead i see chicks, food, and drinks. I'm like, "where's the SC bro"

Look at it as advertisement. They dont advertise the game. They advertise themself. People arent there for Starcraft, they are there for the character. Even flash doesnt get numbers like that. And you might think that it cant get any bigger than Flash

Indeed the primary source of entertainment is the streamer. The game itself is secondary.
Streamers like Sea and TerrOr see themselves as entertainers rather than StarCraft players.
