How about changing this so we can have more consistent discussion and therefore consistent community interaction? How about we start a weekly thread that asks the BW community a different question each week?
It can be anything from:
-"What made you pick your race?"
-"How has playing Brood War changed your life?"
-"Describe your most ingenious in-game play.",
-"Which unit do you hate the most and why?",
-"What personally drew you into Brood War, what about it hooked you in?"
-"What is your favorite build and why?"
The community could also offer their own questions and so we'd have an endless list of topics to talk about. No memes of course, it would be a semi-serious/serious thread.
I remember when Telecom posted a funny lurker question and that really got people joining in. Or when Koget started a list of SC:R improvements and suggestions, that thread had many people chiming in and offering advice.
I definitely think there are enough people who would join in on this weekly event. Kinda like a village gathering once a week. A chance for the people to talk about a game they love.
I know we have discord and reddit, but the TL forums can reach a wider audience and include more people since anyone can join in on their own time. I also strongly believe this would strengthen the BW community. It won't be a revitalization, but it'll be like a small campfire for us BW refugee survivors =)
If a TL mod can help and make it official, that would be great too. I'm sure many of us would want to help the people leading this. It wouldn't be a one man endeavor.
