Is this serious by the way? Americans have American Football, the rest of the world has, simply, football. No Argentinian spellings of English words, we're not out there correcting your Argentinian.
EDIT2: Remember how Razer was trying to get into the Korean market? Why don't they sponsor players? You'd think it'd be a natural step.

I agree on football matter.
That mouse is simply hilarious. I should by one, maybe I'll win 2 MSL's .
I might just buy a mini optical. After the stunning realiazation that starcraft can run on a usb drive, I need a nice small mouse to carry around since the school mice suck. Both the mechanical ones and the living ones.

There is no real in depth reason for it, just that they're mostly used to it, back when SC was released gaming mouses were pretty much non-existant so they just used whatever they got their hands to and I guess many internet cafes had mini opticals.
In SC dpi has very little meaning because of the small resolution and programmable buttons are useless so its just the shape that matters, this will obviously change in SC2 as it did in WC3 though so expect Razer mouses to get a lot more popular.
They're all Logitech Mini Optical mice - just different designs. I use one myself, and I don't have small hands. Regardless of how large your hands are, I think it's ideal for people who don't palm their mouse. It's very light and has a great feel.

I disagree. It's really nice using your thumb on mouse button 4 and 5 which are programmed to F2 and F3.

They are useless for progamers though because using programmable buttons on professional leagues is prohibited.
And its something thats always been considered "bad mannered" and cheating by the SC community.

In casual games it doesn't matter, but in any sort of competitive environment, it's obviously bm to give yourself an advantage that's prohibited in professional play.

obviously i know it's an advantage and it's banned so that people dont have to get 4-5 button mice in the pro scene.
but when you play the game at regular player level online it just doesn't matter tbh

You having an unfair advantage doesn't matter?

Optimization ftw IMO. Lame to prohibit something like that when it's very available to all players at that level.
By your logic we should introduce MBS and automine and all sorts of oversmart AI because everyone would have that luxury?

I hear the NBA is going to introduce trampolines and are rebranding the league as well! They're gonna call it Slam Ball.
