I've tried both the Observer and Regular maps with both the in-game editor and SCM Draft 2 but neither can open them. I'm trying to get a good way to work on base layout. Right now I just have a game file saved in single player and use 'operation cwal' to construct buildings quickly. This is passable but not optimal. Thanks for the help! The Operation CWAL sounds like a good enough plan for your purposes. But if you really want... When I was interested in mapmaking, I downloaded a whole bunch of programs and I remember I could only get one of them to unprotect maps. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly which one it was. This one is still in my Starcraft folder and might be it, not testing it though: Unused Unprotector

- seven platform shaped like a "H" with arrows between them - 1v1 on one of the platform (mostly seen the up right at 11) - start with some random (it seems) units, like a zealot and a probe or eight dragoons, two zealots, a shuttle and templar against another group of units - after one defeats another, starting units are switched - 5 Points per victory Thx a lot!

Vultures vs. Goons (as vultures) is always my favorite, despite being horrible at it. Here's a version I found in my download folder if you want to try and host and don't already have it. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/62289501/MicroTournament10.6n.scx

I was just theory crafting would it be possible to open quick ghosts after a standard mech opening against protoss. Would it be efficent harass with run cloaked ghosts into the protossees mineral line or would the timing just not be there. Or run a heavy vulture style having the obs and the protoss constantly demining and as a result run the ghosts in and do some harass. It would seem it could work, but I fear if we made a high number of vultures and even if the protoss wasen't excspecting the harass from ghosts they would just cannon up anyway which would kill the ghosts no problem.

To elaborate, to get ghosts, you need to get all the tech. Protoss: 1 Gate/Cyber, Expand, 2nd Gate, Robo, Obs Even if you 1 base, Siege Tank 1 Rax, 1 Fac, Academy, Starport, Science Facility, Covert Ops. THEN start researching anything useful. The only things that can be built concurrently are the Factory and Academy. Everything else must wait until the next is built and the next thing. I think the Protoss would have to actively try to not get obs to beat them. Plus on one base, by the time you make a few siege tanks and start your first nuke, you kinda run out of gas.
