It can be done with any non mutalisk, but usually the overlord is used because they move very slowly, and its an easy click. I've seen Killer do it with a zergling in the middle of his cluster of lings before, however.

It makes control easier, as it's sort of like controlling one unit if the group is tight enough. The problem with the SCV though is eventually it stops building then it runs for the hills haha.

What matters is that one of the units is far away from the rest. Then, the rest will stack.

Perhaps this isn't the best map for hellions, but usually I try and poke into the natural and it isn't a complete disaster, so should my hellions be aggressive or should I just hover around creep and try and deny it/delay a third from being taken? Thanks. (I watched a load of recent VODs on EL map but I didn't see anyone open similarly to me without going hellbat/banshee, which isn't very relevant to what I'm doing)

I'm pretty sure you don't want to suicide them and instead want to use them to just poke in and only commit if your opponent gives you the opportunity by herp derping onto the map with is army. You are effectively using a tiny force of units to pin back his whole army because if he moves out you can just take your third slower and enjoy being ahead from the drone kills you get. Sorry, just realised I posted in the wrong thread! Thank you for your help anyway!

The Messiah of course | ||
