The reason why they don't work under d-web is that they cannot perform the attack because of the d-web effect.

Only projectile-based non-spell attacks (both homing [Dragoon, Vulture, ...] and instant [Hydralisk, Marine, Tank, ...]) are affected. What dark swarm actually does is move the point of impact towards the source of the attack by one tile. So if you have an Archon or sieged up Tank, you can still deal full splash damage by manually aiming one tile behind (from your Tank/Archon's point of view) your intended target (only if there is a valid alternative target there, of course).

everyone that still play often has adopted modern builds and playstyle, so technically there isnt really any more true oldschool players. you hardly ever see NaDa do the builds he did back in 2004 now. you can still play oldschool 1/2base style but not very viable at higher levels of play. so basically everyone is clumped together already 2006/2007 is probably the cutoff period when savior and bisu pioneered the metagame which everyone uses today On August 25 2015 13:21 BruceLee6783 wrote: When pushing in mid/late game tvp, if you come out victorious after a large mid-map scuffle, do you gun for his main or his expos? it depends on the map and the location of your bases/expos if you win with a large margin on FS your main army go for their nat positions(10, 1,4,7 positions), split off 3-5 tanks from your army to hit another toss expo from their ramp (the expos at the 12,3,6,9 position) which is usually undefended and cannons cannot reach those tanks also during these times if toss has arbiters, prepare for desparate recalls. mine up your mains/expos, vessel ready for emp and have tanks ready

Could you be more specifc? Right now, it seems like the great divide everyone talks about is between the Kespa era and the post-Kespa era. I guess within the Kespa era, you could talk about guys like Boxer and Nal-ra being 'old school', and Flash and Jaedong and Bisu being 'new school', but without specifics as to what you're talking about, this is just guessing.
