You can start your own thread, but you don't have to. 2. You post the replay 3. You analyze the replay yourself first. You point out key areas you think that you messed up, or key moments, or both. Then you could say "how can I do x better" or "why did y not work," etc. Historically, this has been the MO. You need to invest some of your own effort into figuring out what to do before you expect others to do the same. If you just post a replay and give no substance or focus of your own, it is likely that there will be simply too much to be said about what needs to be fixed. By providing the substance, the responding analyst knows what they don't have to write themselves. By providing focus, you are more likely to get the direct information you need to shore up your weakness.

That has always interested me, since when I'm playing zerg, I find it hard to hotkey zerglings, if there are too much. And there are other units too. I also rarely watch streams, especially those of zergs, so I don't know.

I browse reddit about once every two days on /r/starcraft and /r/broodwar and I see about 1-2 threads in this timeframe about people complaining about the fact that hotkeys don't register when your mouse button is pressed down and how this should be changed. My question is, when is there ever a situation where it is advantageous to have your mouse pressed down and to use hotkeys? I never have any of the problems these players have because I assume they developed it from SC2. Unless I'm misunderstanding your question, the issue is not of there being an advantage to it but of people pressing so fast that they "lose" the input. Like if they are spamming right click to rally and cycling through their hatches 5-0, they might miss a hatch or two because instead of doing 0 click 9 click 8 click etc. They are doing clicli0ckclickclick9clickclick8clickcli7ckclickcli6clickclickityclacketyclock
