I play protoss and would love to play on more maps like Frozen Canal. Really like how you'd have to drastically change how you open to play these effectively...but how do I go about opening in PvT, PvZ and PvP? Doesn't seem to be anywhere that I can find build orders for these kind of scenarios. : )

Here are some VODs. Zero vs. Best + Show Spoiler + Bisu vs. Ssak + Show Spoiler + Bisu vs. Zero + Show Spoiler + Bisu vs. Zero + Show Spoiler + Bisu vs. Zero + Show Spoiler + I included only ones that had Protoss in them because you're Protoss. Another way to see island map games in replay form is by going to bwreplays.com Then you can type in search bar "map:Gorky Island" as an example. Important to type in map:. The website gives you a list of search functions to the right of the search bar. Whether the games are any good or not, I'm not sure but they are in pretty large quantity. You can't really watch any old reps prior to 2009 because of version update so just go to the TLPD to watch some really old games if you want to. To OP, you might want to check out 815 too, no island map but quite a few island-ish features (and you definetely can't go with standard build orders) | ||

Also wonder if there are any maps where you can get 3 gas before getting drop tech. Like maybe 2 at your starting position, and then waaaay off to the side, you have some sort of natural on your starting island as well... maybe a gas-only, since full 3-base vs full 3-base would seem to be very bad for Z in ZvT. Could that solve it, more or less, or would it be wacky? | ||
