I'm personally using a Razer Salmosa right now, its like a G1 on steroids ... see this picture http://razerblueprints.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=8054.0;attach=910;image for a size comparison of Salmosa and G1) Salmosas sold in Asia are even smaller and lighter. It feels very awkward to use a large and heavy palm mouse like DeathAdder or Logitech MX518 for StarCraft - unless you have massive hands. So true, i hate my death adder, feels damn uncomfortable to play sc with. Gonna get a salmosa soon

Depending on how you play with your mouse, I'd don't pick up my mouse and mostly move it with my fingers i have a short heavy mouse that has a higher dpi. If you like to pick up the mouse alot a liter mouse set to a lower dpi assuming you move your arm alot etc. it's just all comfort perference. A good optical mouse over a good lazer mouse thou mostly.

With lighter ones I feel like I'm going all over the place. Small, heavy mice are where its at. I use some Logitech wireless laptop mouse, and i love it. I know wireless is a huge mistake most of the time because of bad connections and the mouse suddenly turning off, but it's never been a problem for me. It's nice not having a cord that gets in the way.

These are my recommendations: small ambi mice: logitech miniop(tons reccomends it as pros use), razer krait, razer salmosa ergonomic right hand: deathadder others to consider: logitech g9, ms sidewinder Try them out or ake a look at what you want in a mouse and pick.

A good contender would obviously be the Razer line-up. After that, it's just a matter of which shape you would prefer. I would not recommend anything Microsoft, Kesington, or any other brand. There are a few "great" mice out there that can compete with or even exceed the Logitechs / Razers, but for a premium in pricing.
