The lack of mirrors, and the fact that sAviOr is playing a toss (his best win percentage) has made me very excited for this one. Also, EffOrt and Light[aLive] are my favorite non-sAviOr players.

That's just silly.
People are talking crazy ZvP IMBA these days. Time to see that shit in action, IMHO. If its real, my guess is 1000 Hydras crush Movie, although I love the kid.
So...out of the 28 games played on Tornado, only 3 of them involved Protoss - and they all lost.
Pusan is playing against sAviOr, the anti-cheese master, revered for his ability to quickly adapt to any situation and find a counter strategy (except maybe to Bisu's forge FE).
CJ's got this in the bag, I'd think. Movie and Effort are favored in their matches while Skyhigh and Savior both have around even or better odds of taking theirs. Wouldn't be surprised to see 3-0 or 3-1 from CJ.

The problem is while Pusan has shown he is capable of vT and vP, his vZ hasn't been tested against any notable names.
Meanwhile Savior beat Guemchi, but that's about it...

Savior has said zvp is his best currently, the map is a protoss graveyard, pusan is playing his worst matchup, and savior has some good form to match pusan'.

It's silly to state that any match is a done deal
I'll tell you my arguements why is not silly .... map is heartbreak , hyun is a zerg and last but not least i heard he is a progamer lol
Effort isn't Jaedong, Light will be able to compete easily with him TvZ. (even if he is Jaedong, history shows that Light is able to take games off Jaedong and give him good games).
I want CJ to win, but I really don't want to miss out on EffOrt v. Light... Pity CJ brought their A line-up because then they don't have someone like Iris who is clearly going to lose.

Skyhigh v Sea = interesting (sea should crush him imo)
Effort v Light = Awesome. I hope it gets to game 4.
Thats exactly what I was thinking too. If EffOrt v Light was Game 1... I'd have no problem with a 3-0.
Also what I like about this set... is the Maps all the games are on. These are some of my favorite maps for these MU. Every map except Tornado has to be my favorite for the MU... since I cant have 2 favorites for PvZ.

I can not say how FUCKING EXCITED I AM FOR THIS!!! RAWRRRRRR seriously.. Fucking... Movie's killer PvZ (ZvP is my favourite matchup) Followed by FUCKING SAVIOR ZVP vs pusan!!! (im huge savior fanboy) then skyhigh vs sea.. I think.. this is one of the times where people are excited for tvt? mayhap? then fucking EffOrt does ZvT.. GG omfg im fucking giddy.. seriously.. anyways.. my predictions.. Movie>HyuN sAviOr>Pusan Skyhigh<Sea EffOrt>Light CJ 3:1 MBC I will probably get 1 wrong. Hopefully not not more, and hopefully its not sAviOr>Pusan thats wrong.. Yarrr too much excitement!

edit: I thought about an Ace possiblity too... that the CJ coach likes to have 1 player train specifically for 1 map for the ACE. Being that the only blaring absence from the roster is Berserker, youd think maybe he was training for the heavily Terran favored map.
Though... EffOrt will theoretically be all warmed up for ZvT after match 4, and thats a dangerous prospect. He may decide based on weather Effort wins or not? Thats my guess.
4 gate goon, bringing back the winning formula vs Jaedong. Going to try to snipe the hatchery, going to get it. 3 sunks have been placed, Movie's goons>Hyun's lings

It wasn't too bad he lost that hatch, he lost that hatch because unscouted movie build is going to cost you at least a hatch if you go blind 5hatch hydra. He was pretty much fucked when he didn't scout that.
didn't he just lose that hatch because of bad placement? Im not sure but I don't remember that hatch being there before... usually isn't it a bit less exposed?

That is such an abusive sim city it's ridiculous, savior just chilling and waiting for ultralisks while zeechons roam around looking for something they can kill.

sAviOr's management style is great. He stays in absolute control, responding to everything the P throws at him until he knows nothing can stop his offense.
Then he takes control of the map and destroys his opponent.

I'm kind of worried about Effort's recent performance, I'd just as soon see skyhigh win this. Besides, I'm a HUGE skyhigh fan, and he really needs to break this semi-slump.
Ya... also torn between watching SkyHigh take the 3/4 of the map in 12 minutes... which is sick... and watching my 2 favorite players clash in an epic ZvT.
Idra did so well in this game. He seriously almost ouplayed the best PvT'er ever. So good. Loved when he killed his own Comsat; I would've never thought of that!

This is very true. He took advantage of the fact that Pusan probaly wants to crush him early. Playing a 25 minute game against savior doesnt sould like you would win, so natrually he is going to bring an agressive midgame.
Savior only had 4 bases, focusing on expanding would have been a good idea. Zerg was so Econ heavy for SO long.

Yeah why did he kill the comsat??
To quickly recharge energy. Since the comsat starts off with 50 energy, enough for one scan, he killed off the comsats so he could get scans fast enough to find Stork's DTs.

Yeah why did he kill the comsat??
he would get 50 energy for another scan faster instead of waiting for it to refill, especially since idra knew DTs were coming

Yeah why did he kill the comsat??
Because he didn't have enough energy to scan the dt so he rebuilt the comsat so it would have enough energy for 1 scan
Ya those wraiths were pissing the guy off.... real bad. Makes it hard to feel sorry for him cause I know he is so cocky... but I feel bad a little. Hard to just get plain old out-classed like that.
When I first saw skyhigh's double armory, I did think it was a great decoy armory. When I saw the missing academy and late comsats, I can't decide between: 1) skyhigh forgot academy 2) there was a "va" vs "ba" (build advanced -> armory vs build -> academy) mistake that explains the double armory and the lack of academy. I think this is more likely than that skyhigh simply forgot the academy, and much more likely than that for some reason skyhigh skimped academy because he thought it was 1port without cloak (very unlikely).

either way, those are mistakes that are inexcusable for pros.

I honestly believe Light is one of the smartest Terran out there. Hes got a tough game, but I wouldnt be so excitited if I didnt totally think he can do it.
Burrow for ambushes, and to aim for turrets to think it's mutas.. while he wastes scans with the burrow, and goes lurker and light has no scans left. Amazing.
Effort's play this game shines with the spirit of Hong Jin-ho. Beautiful use of burrow and late 3hatch lurker (and I anticipate a midgame tech switch, but you never know).
Making use of burrowed lings for vision. Very smart. Until Light has vessels he isn't going to do anything about it since scanning there would be a waste.
I think light's definately behind, he barely has any mnm, and the only thing keeping him in is his SV. He's constatntly losing scvs and forced to manyard.
Light was severely behind because of the zergling antics early game, his midgame was nearly flawless but effort played flawlessly and had a huge lead. i mean effort got swarm right on time and light only had his first vessel.
That was a very good TvZ im feeling bad for Light but he did a awesome job.. I suck with just marines against Lurkers (its one of the hardest things on SC for me) =(

what I just watched Light vs Effort (without knowing the result) and Effort was just toying with him for the last 10 minutes - don't understand how anyone thought the game was close at any point after the ling runby.
I mean Light killed like literally 0 Drones and did no damage to any of Effort's bases the entire game. His Vessel cloud and his ball got decent-sized but relative to a Zerg who got 4 gas quickly with no disruption it really wasn't that much.
Overall I really like Effort/Savior's style of play tonight. Never overreacting or trying to blow an advantage in any way - barely even engaging the opponent's main army. Both players won just by managing the game, and it was beautiful to see.
Pusan vs Savior was horrible. What was Pusans plan at all? Just wait and lose? GET A FUCKING DA so you stop chasing around the fucking muta cloud for ages and stop throwing away dt's to simcities obviously built against them. Also it wouldn't hurt to get some reaver or templar harassment or ANYTHING thats going to stop your incoming losss against a 4gas Z.

Absolutely amazing play from both players. I think most players would crumble with efforts highly offensive play this game, especially in the beginning. He lost the game when his drop got sniped. Since effort was all over the place, I think he should have focused more on securing his 2 new expos instead.
