to answer my own question, as far as I can tell this is in place unless new round matters. Jangbi played bw against mind in their last match against KT, and played bw today.
Turn going to scout in the correct direction, will see Canata's main Checks the 9 oclock for a proxy I'm not sure if Turn sees the rax Fact on the way for both players

anyways, also to throw something out juni played bw set during round 1 and I don't think he ever was slated for an sc2 slot, now returns to sc1 slot. I think there's a good chance juni is done after this season and isn't playing much sc2.

Wow, just got in in time to see Stork use the most BW style of PvT I've ever seen in SC2. Blink stalkers, chargelots, and sentries is just like your typical goon/speedlot/arbiter play. Weird to see protoss trying to win with numbers in the MU.

I missed the first two SC2 games, but Jangbi vs Guemchi and Turn vs Canata were pretty fun to watch. Stork vs Piano was kind of funny but overall not high quality.

Ahh i hate colossus, it is such a boring unit with almost no reward in control. and that Protoss has no way to counter it except void rays, forces pvp to turn into collosi vs colossi
i must be the complete exception in that i really like collosus micro when it's done well. (for an example, one of Naniwa's matches in the GSL this season had some epic colossus micro that had me on the edge of my seat for some reason)
i guess i missed the whole thing though? OP isn't updated but did Ace win? i think Ace has the coolest beginning thing, cause they just flash a salute, they always look so badass.

Well, Tempests are SO long-range that they're useless in your ground army (since their attack is bad at everything but range), meaning you'll have a ground deathball and a separate air deathball a siege tank's range away from it.
Tempests can at least be sniped by blink stalkers or something, and require you to keep a close eye on their positioning. There is literally nothing interesting about Tripods.
PvP doesn't have to descend into colossi wars, it's been shown that a chargelot/archon composition can stomp colossi/stalker, you just need to make sure the archons are positioned well
After 20 minutes of basically nothing happening, the game was fucking decided when Jangbi decided to run and his colossus got caught behind(they're slow) while Guemchi's archons and stalkers were chasing his army. There was just no way for Jangbi to put his army into position that would have made that fight come out even. Colossus is a fucking trash unit.

I can't believe it's the carrier getting removed in HOTS and not the Colo.
At least they're making everything hard-counter Tripods in HotS, so hopefully they'll become the Scout of SC2 when Tempests and Vipers make them useless.

Mid-game sure, but going for chargelot/archon is like a timer. If the colossi player leaves their base, they will get crushed, forcing them to be defensive while u can expand and take map control. However, once the colossi reach a critical mass, the colossi player will win by a landslide. The chargelot/archon player can't stay on that composition for too long, unless they manage to kill the colossi player b4 it gets too late. In the end, PvP late game is always colossi vs colossi.
