Hmm, the HungryApp (hungrytv @ Afreeca) stream or snipealot is still a bit buggy, so folks might want to jump on the Bisudagger or Azubu streams to watch

What awful scheduling they have had weeks to start the Ro8 and could have put it on anytime and they have decided the best time to start it is in the middle of the Asian CUp Final. Son Heungmin has just scored and equaliser making him a national hero and taking the game into extra time. There isn't going to be a Korean alive watching the KSL instead of the Asian Cup Final.
I still dont understand why Zero didnt just crush Mongs army on the low-ground right before his ramp? He had a shit ton of lurkers. If he just a-moved and burrowed, he would have won that game (especially with the reinforcement lurkers he morphed later). What the fuck.

Have you tried tee Azubu stream? Much faster than afreeca (at least for me).

Maybe it helps if you lower the resolution
i guess i will give it a try. hope it works. wouldnt want to miss anything in the bisu-mind match.
and bahhhhh another round of insanely long ads. for like what, 5min of ZvZ?
Yeh I'm confused by all the 12 hatches these days.
I don't think 12 hatch has won a game for a long time, you really need to be on top of your game to win with it (But if you survive the initial ling battle you're golden)

the issue is, if memory serves me right, killer always dies when he goes for 12 hatch, unless his opponent goes for the same strategy, which often does not happen. i get the feel that he just never learns.
@peeano didnt see the ad. but why is a white guy with a korean woman a taboo?
Looks very tricky to deal with the Terran push in those positions. The distance is pretty short and there's absolutely no room for the Protoss to maneuver. Looks rough.
the format is somewhat horrible. I understand it serves to create tention and provide a cliffhanger, but i think it's a bit to much. In conjunction with really a lot of advertisement, this ain't makin me happy

I tink people are giving zero too much shit over that game. It was an incredibly well thought out strategy from Mong where he abused every single stretegic aspect of the map and dictated the whole game from the start (like starting up wraiths forcing zero to go hydra, then stopping wraith production and switching to mnm drops and tanks). I don't think any current zerg who has not come up against a similar strategy on this map would have won against mong in this situation.

er you can easily see this strat occasionally used by terrans in fish server tho, zero knows what hes up against but hes failure to deal effectively with the drop + poor engagement during terran final push where he also carelessly throws aways lurkers did him in.

Perhaps, but since almost everyone plays on FS, you are not used to having av vulture sneak through from behind or being back door dropped, and at the same time having trouble scouting wether terran has expanded to his back door or not. Sure zero could have done a better job, but I'd say that mong deserves praise rather than zero recieving too much blame for the result.

the problem is zero lost because of that absolutely horrendous lurker play at the end
75% of his lurker burrowed out of range of anything

In my opinion he looked dead as soon as mong pushed out with his 4-5 tanks, I don't think any kind of control would have saved zero by then, hydralurker simply isn't that strong unless you have a bigger advantage in army size. Mong would have had to screw up bad since he had probably the perfect composition to kill a hydralurker army.

If anything, Mong looked pretty dead when he pushed out...
How was Mong dead? He was one-basing against a harassed zerg who was trying to reclaim his third. ZerO would've needed some godlike engagements to stand any chance in the game. If Mong didn't cancel his base then ZerO's gamble could've worked out but like this there was only very little he could've done.

he had so many lurkers, at that point you cant be cute and layer the burrows you just have to run into the terran army and force his tanks to shoot or die
what he did was burrow most of them out of range then mong just targetted the neraby ones
Zero's army was wastly superior. He just funneled it through a choke and burrowed most of his lurkers outside of range and lost because of that. If he would have flanked he would have won easily.
free vs hero is pretty good. I mean free is pretty dead but hero is playing insanely well and free is holding his ground for way longer than I expected.

I'll have to rewatch that but from what I've seen ZerO's army was vastly shit against Mong's composition. Nothing against the vessel and a good mnm count to support tanks for Mong. The extra lurkers were too late and by that time Zero had the natural simcity working against him. I'll rewatch that though.

He had no scourge for vessels and the tanks were too protected against lurker engagments on a very open map. It was a nightmare scenario for Zero. I think more speedlings would have helped.

I was thinking wether he should have gone mutalisk at some point, however I'm not sure that would have helped either. The biggest fault from zero was that he took his back door expo I think, it was only a liability the whole game.
Watching bisudagger stream bisu vs mind and thinking "this commentator is very neutral" which is good, unlike that bisudagger fanboy and shortly after, the awkward moment i realise i am listening to bisudagger himself lol.
Bisu got heavilly outplayed which i was not expecting, it was dominance from the start to finish. Grats to Mind for his good preparation. I have high hopes Bisu will do better and bring at least one win, coz from this game this bo3 looks like unwinable.
I admit I do not watch english casts regularly, but the hungryapp/azubu vods (pre-youtube) are the weirdest nebulous cesspool of not being able to time skip any reasonable or controllable amount (skip 4 min? nope. skip like 2 hours), some seemingly random mix of order, etc etc
Funny story about LoL too :D
As much as I love kwanro (ssl9 semifinalist), it's getting kind of tiresome in the kongdoo league that he just keeps kwanrolling over everyone.
100% kwanro doing speedlings, and what has happened this league? Bisu gets busted, Killer 12 hatches.....
