Anyway it's nice to see Effort taking his comeback so seriously. Kinda funny to think that Pusan called him an "easy pick" in the TTSL.

At any given time during those 20 minutes he could've thrown down an extra expansion and secured his economy. Anyway it's nice to see Effort taking his comeback so seriously. Kinda funny to think that Pusan called him an "easy pick" in the TTSL. I feel like game one is the defining moment in Efforts career where we can finally say he has returned to form. Hiya definitely had many opportunities to win the game, but effort was like a suffocating blanket to a fire putting out every ember Hiya tried to ignite. It was such a treat to watch.

Pumped EffOrt won! Game 1 had me on the edge the whole time, it felt kinda sloppy and it was confusing hiyA never grabbed another base...but it was quite intense with the feeling of who was going to win swinging back and forth. Definitely felt like many stream ZvT's of EffOrt feel...like he is just living by the skin of his teeth, and then eventually somehow wins but without ever feeling like he was at an advantage.
