BJ 41 returns with another small online tournament, a 12-programer affair this time. Unfortunately, we just missed the first round of 12, but, per usual, BJ 41 has been diligently upload all the VODs to his Youtube channel, so those will be linked on LP.
Fortunately, we join the tournament just in time for the Ro8, featuring the likes of EffOrt, ZerO, and Mind!
Participants:
Format Ro12 round robin group stage Ro8 dual-tournament group stage Ro4 single elimination bracket
Hogil has been back a long time, but he is not a streamer on Afreeca. He has strong ties to the amateur scene and participates in clanwars. He occasionally paticipates in these kinds of online leagues.
HiyA made some questionable decisions in that last game. But good job, Kal. Nice to see him move up. At least each race is represented. Although I'm sure if EffOrt had actually shown up, the results would have been much different.
considering how this series is still going, and there's definitely going to be another game after this one, I get the feeling mong vs larva isn't going to happen before midnight in korea

Kal was pretty good
This is good to hear. He played well against HiyA (although HiyA did make some questionable decisions). Kal's been playing well against Terrans, it seems. Wonder how he'll fare with Larva.
I don't know what to expect from this series really. I haven't seen enough Kal games but since he's made it this far, I'm assuming he's in good form. Larva's Zvp (at least top 4) should make it really hard for Kal though.
Do they release demos? Took a break a few days ago, but I had problems with non-standard toss opening (1 base and 2 gate). Didn't see the start of that but I think I could have learnt a bit.

It was a standard FE opening I believe. But Kal couldn't handle the early lings which forced him to abandon his constructing nat.

Oh, nevermind then. Was it like a 9pool speed or something?

I guess Larva was the safer bet overall huh :/ Any ideas when to end this season yet? I really wanna win haha (both bw and sc2 liquibet)
What is the best way to get spoiler free vods of this tournament? The only place we have found the vods linked is liquipedia and we have not found a way to get the vods from there without spoilers. None of the vods from this tournament have made it into the small vods thread and we haven't found anywhere else to see get the links. Is there something we are missing?

If you're still interested, I'll link the vods in small vod thread (alternatively I'll still link them.)
