dunno but for me it was clear flash leading this even if he loss some random marines,1 base vs 1 base only works if you did terrible eco damage to the terran.

Nah. All the pros were saying Flash was WAY behind.

Really? I feel like we often see 1 base Terran compete evenly with 2 base Zerg when the latter has an incredibly low drone count like Miso. The maneuver to force two extra Sunkens out of Miso while he was pushing with Lurkers might have saved the game.

no sense,1 vs 1 without eco damage zerg will never win lol... 1 base terran can even kill 3 bases zerg if good micro
Someone please post the gif of Flash's lurker split on that one ice map whose name escapes me. The one that was used in the final against Movie, I think

When I tuned in, zerglings were clawing the semi-wall-in and I thought FlaSh wasn't really behind
Did feel like Flash was significantly behind for awhile after the bunker rush failed and when he also lost a lot of marines early in various exchanges to lings (surprising for Flash).
The double depot wall-in was the start of the turnaround (IMO), and then Miso showed some pretty bad muta micro shortly thereafter, losing way too many of them too easily, while not doing much damage.

Miso didnt have drones for that.he made lot of sunkens, included one in the main.
But... Flash said the same thing....=(
is 1 base zerg... u are using larves for lings and no drones, then u are makign drones and no units, then you are using drones to defend the first bio push and for second extractor and 3 drones gaz,Miso eco was in terrible shape.

Good point. Also explains part of why Flash was getting owned in those early exchanges... Miso had a high ling count for that time of game, but at a price.
(tbf, Miso's ling micro was good. Unlike his muta micro).

Mass Wraiths don't beat mass BCs.
Equal supply Wraiths beat equal supply BCs
I should've been more specific. A mass Wraith strategy doesn't beat a mass BC strategy once both players have their army compositions. Wraiths win if the units just attack-move each other in the middle of the map or whatever, but that never actually happens in a game.
e: I have no idea what either player is doing in this game. Weird TvT.
So, it's a double-elimination format... does that mean that the winner of the Loser's Bracket then has to win *twice* in the Grand Finals vs the winner of the Winner's Bracket?
Seems like it would have to be that way in order to be fair... two losses and you're out.

what can I say, the invisible terran loves his wraiths.

It's common lately in double elim brackets for the winners' side team in GFs not to get any advantage other than having to play less games to get there.

these elite 2v2s suck because they play it in hunters we get 7 min games tops, i wish they'd put a diff 4 player map in there just to make the games more interesting

Wolf too. He said flash was far behind game 1 a few minutes before he won, when he was clearly far ahead. Lots of weird calls by the both of them.
Pretty funny I was watching the game and saying the exact same thing about the commentators. And I'm also a huge fan of SC2 references in BW, like comparing the Valkyries to whatever does air to air stuff in SC2 lol.
But meh, it's still enjoyable and watchable. Pretty sure it will improve with time when BW regains all its glory (Still good job to Rapid and Wolf, not an easy job to do).

I'm understanding. They're casting for a new game (for them), I'll give them time. They're amiable enough even when wrong, and I can tell that they are looking into the game/attempting to improve the cast.

Woah, be nice guys. These guys are trying best they can. If you want casters with half a decade BW casting experience watch my stream, if you want high quality entertainers who are really f-ing good at their job and are trying their best then watch GSL stream. Either way be constructive instead of how you are currently acting.

I agree. I think people need to be a little more constructive with their criticism rather than just bash them. They do check teamliquid.
You realize Last's TvT is better than Flash's right now on average right
He just had a clean advantage over Light the entire game and had no reason to make the first move, and Light's TvT is definitely in the more boring camp, so that's what we got.

Or, instead of waiting for them to get better, one could just watch the BisuDagger/FlashFTW cast.
They're already quite on point, and are longtime BW casters.

Nope, not at all. The early game was won for Light, as forward barracks was delayed and he had natural earlier. From that point I expected him to do a more decisive moves to secure the map or pressing Last on his "soft spots" with numerical advantage. His earlier wrights has given him enough scouting information to decide what step he should make next. Instead he just walking around here and there and seemed to have no plan how to end it with a win. Last was behind so instead attacking he was trying to secure his economy and come back from disadvantage, what was possible because of passive Light's play. The fact that Last was first who was in position to expand on the middle was a testament of blunders that Light made.
edit: if you follow that thread you will see that I started to criticise Light's play even before his suicidal wright attack.

Oh yeah worry not, I do that too. I end up watching all 3 casts most of the times (ASL Korean /ASL English / BD+FFTW).
Anyways, just glad to see stuff rolling and having casters around compared to the dark ages when BW was really struggling.
