Well, I'd like to get better but it's hard when u are in the top of the foreign scene. All I can do is to keep killing weaker foreigners because there is too big lag to play against koreans. Only yesterday I had to leave a ranked game against Snow because there was lag at extra high latency.
How do I get better guys? Help me!

You should have the decency to not register to this kind of micro tourneys targeting amateur foreign players. I dont see any other pro doing it besides you.

Best foreigners are around C rank fish, you are S rank fish, it's 3 leagues above the top players registering to these tourneys. I dont see the point really.

Bonyth 2 accounts are or were at B rank with about 15 losses. I believe that bonyth can get A rank easily. Trutacz and eonzerg are also skillful enough for B and potential for A. Speaking of 3 leagues above the top players, neeb(sc2) should get banned in NA league cuz he gets lots of support and connection with korean. Right?

Ok maybe there are 2-3 players who are only 2 leagues under you, so? Registering to every single foreign amateur tourneys, that's a low behaviour. And as you stated above, since it's not to hunt money I'm going to assume it's for the challenge.

I don't understand, why would he not join tours? He has trained and trained and trained this game to get to his level. He clearly likes to be a part of foreign community for multiple reasons and even getting paid for his efforts now. I think it would be dumb from him not to join tournaments. Tournaments are made of different people and if they decide scan can play, I don't see him doing anything wrong in participating.
I personally love having super stars involved, hell, bring all the pros to us! Only problem for me is lag issues. I personally had to face scan in last 2 tournaments and playing him on tr8 high latency is really terrible. I would most likely lose anyway without any lag or high latency, no question about that, but the problem is that I can't really learn much from the games versus him when I can't perform even normal basic actions. So the games vs him and other Koreans are just frustrating and meaningless in the end. No wonder everyone is cheesing every game. This is the only reason I would hope to see foreign tournaments. If the lag issues are fixed, then I'd love to see all gosus around.

Play people better than you, like Scan? I heard he even joins tournaments sometimes, so you'll run into him eventually.

Did you read what he wrote, Sr18? Read again...
I think people are being way too harsh on Scan to be honest. If organizers allow anyone to join, follow the damn rules and stop complaining.
Anyway, I wonder if BTTV took in consideration the advice about the zooming. Please stop zooming out! Or in! You have to be smart about the zoom feature, do not use it indiscriminately!

Yes I actually use reaver/speed shuttle plays ~80% of my games PvT just about. There's 2 reasons why I decided not to do it at all vs you, 1) I see you make few goliaths very often to defend shuttle harrass and 2) shuttle reaver micro really needs fast unit response, which obviously is not the case in finland-korea games. I feel like it would be too easy for you to snipe shuttle when I'm desperately trying to get reaver to shoot and move shuttle.
Reason why I wanted fast 3rd is because with so slow unit response time I can't micro, so I figured my best chance would be to overwhelm your army, didn't go that well :D I'd love to play players of your caliber every single day, the lag/latency barrier is just unbearable Maybe if we meet next time we could play without observers and I turn on the VPN for the games Casters wont like this idea though :D The lag issues have influented my mind a lot, just makes me play a lot worse than normal

If you really had to play on high latency and you still carried on and didnt forfeit, respect to you.
For players who practice all the time tr8 low latency is the bare minimum response time required to put on a decent performance, anything worse than that and it will just cause so much frustation that playing it out is meaningless, especially when all the odds are already stacked against you when facing someone like scan with all his korean practice. Lag is really not something that should even play a role in the head of a foreign amateur player in that scenario.... makes it so difficult to perform.
For the balance of the game and zerg's playability especially, tr 12 should be a minimum requirement in future tournaments. That's why if the player base continues to grow, regional tournaments, (Eu, NA, KR) are a much better way to handle online tournaments than the way it is now. Without TR12 and proper muta control, at the highest level, zerg is too weak. Foreigners are not yet at a level where this plays a huge role, but if game continues to grow and more tournaments are on the rise, regional tournaments is the way of the future. Playing on TR8 is not optimal. That's why it's also important that blizzard makes ladders regional, with TR12. So practice is consistent. All of this depends on player pool rising and skill level rising though.

Ye, I wish I was American so I could play against koreans at Turn Rate 8 at low latency. Hell, they can even play at Turn Rate 12 I've heard.
I think that's just so sad to not have access to korean player base. I hope Blizzard can do something about it.
