A little background I've been running a little recap of some BW pro players casual games in the Small VOD Thread in early 2018. Unfortunately, I had to stop at some point since I had less and less time to watch many games in a week with the increased charge of my Ph.D. studies. Since I received a lot of positive feedback about the initiative over time, I've decided to revive the idea with a new format for my 1000th post!
Why look for casual games? I find the idea of posting casual games interesting in many ways : - Casual games show how pros approach certain matchups or certain maps during their practice time - It offers a preview of how they play the new maps at the beginning of a season - It can reveal friendship and rivalry behind the scenes - It shows pros in their environment (Flash raging in his underwear during the group selection anyone?) - It sometimes shows weird matchups, off-race plays, or fun 3vs3/4vs4 you won't see in regular tournaments - It's good to know that Flash can sometimes lose...
The new collaborative GOTW The increasing popularity of fan's thread like Jaedong Stream Thread, Flash Stream Thread or Larva Thread hinted that I'm not the only freak looking for those games. So I thought it would be nice if others could contribute to the idea by posting good casual games they watch during the week. I would then collect the suggestions in this thread to create a post like this one every week/2 weeks (depending on the popularity of the initiative).
How can I contribute to the weekly post? Simple. Just post the URL to the worthy casual game you just watched in this thread. Your name will then appear as a collaborator for this week's post if your selection is chosen.
These are the rules I usually use for games selection: - No games from any professional tournament (ASK, KSL, KCM, etc.) since those are already available in the Small Vod Thread. - There is no restriction on the format (1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3, etc.) or the level of the players (pros, semi-pros, foreigners)
Useful resources I usually browse the following YouTube accounts (most of them are updated daily) to find interesting games. Feel free to post any other accounts that deserve to be added to this list.

Because they were leagues above anyone else in ladder points they kept getting matched to each other. So fans were treated to something really special when the two played eight games against each other consecutively. I'm not going to spoil anything, but the games were ridiculously close.
Flash uploaded one video on his channel:
Whereas Stork is uploading all (currently six) eight games, so I'll just link his Youtube channel.

Your fanboyism could be a great help for this thread! I suggest you post in this thread anything you consider worthy of watching among all the games seen lately. I don't see anything wrong with the double post. In fact, I'm counting on the contribution of those fan's thread to revive the GOTW initiative.

Yes Burned Toast ! I AM BY FAR NR 1 JAEDONG FAN IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE ! And I will help this thread !!! Sorry for caps
And let's forget about Starcraft for a minute: Here we see Jaedong (with glasses and singing in a low voice ) watching Flash , who is watching Best , who is eating with a girl

I somehow missed this thread when it was first posted, but this is now done.
SICK GAME BETWEEN ROCK AND A TERRAN PLAYER (hidden names for both of them - maybe Larva playing terran , as we can see in the thumbnail) reaver recalls and cloaked wraiths and many many bunkers !
Pretty sick defense by Flash and harrass by Mini all game for a nice battle of attrition. And then the part from 25.12 onward, classic tense TvP big-army-dance around the middle, Flash nailing the engagement. Thx for sharing.
Effort ZvP Mole Zerg against Protoss this time instead of Terran! Imagine Jaedong harassing you with his Zerglings but with burrow to make you lose even more mining time.

*Best game I’ve seen in weeks: Best uses Dark Archon’s Feedback Ability in PvT against Vessels (He is known for his Dark Archon useage ever since his pimpest play in ASL). Maybe a new meta?
Firebathero goes mass Goliath switch in TvP for fun
Larva plays a very good long ZvT where he wins it with 2 clutch Infested Command Centers
I ended up coming across that vod earlier today, and watched it from Larva's point of view. It was really really impressive to see Nada beat Larva. Larva has become a more solid ZvTer over the years, and Nada has honestly not kept up well with 1v1, but seeing him being able to compete with and beat Larva made me really happy. I doubt he'll ever go back to his top form, but I think having Nada make it into ASL7 and get to the Ro16 group selection ceremony would be cool. He was one of the first Terrans to wow me on Afreeca during the snipealot days. Applecrunch making a comeback? I hope so! :D
Pretty sick game of Korean girl playing Korean girl. I wish I had the rest of the game. ZvT and Zerg stalls with a backstab until her Crazy Zerg Ultralisk rush arrives.
Leto uses Hallucinations on a 3v3 Hunters game to break a turtling Terran.
Leto wins 1v3 Hunters with Zerg and playing like the game is singleplayer.
Leto ZT vs ZP Hunters with Hydras+Valks against Mutas+Goons. I guess you can go Hydra if you focus on killing Protoss first.
Best PvT game of the year!!! Crazy long game with new meta of Dark Archons being dropped from Shuttles to Feedback Vessels!! Best went 5-0 with an all kill in KCM and is looking like a monster going into the new ASL7.
Leto 2v2 ZZ vs PZ where he goes 1 base Cracklings+Defiler+Nydus+evolutionary chamber. Very good game!
Come on... I've watched the 2 Flash vs Rain games because you said epic, but these weren't epic at all. Standard regular games. The only insteresting thing was the new map... I don't know about the other games posted, maybe those are better.
For me the absolute maddest game this year thus far has been
Stork v GGaemo last match of a recent KCM Challenge weekly:
The match is 50 mins long and above and beyond what a usual, energetic, back-and-forth PvZ has it contains queens, guardians, arbiters, stasis, feedback, maelstrom, and all used with excellent finesse. Love weird games like this.
Leto playing a guy that made a hilariously rigged version of The Hunters with an island, fastest minerals, and neutral BCs and Arbiters that he could Mind Control. Haven’t laughed this hard in awhile.
Leto 3v3 Hunters. He makes what seems like an odd main base 2nd Nexus. Put it helps him win against 3 Terrans with his 15 gateways.
Flash is just on another level. He screw up massively with his first two drop ships as the idea was they will follow the battle cruisers and pretty much end the game at that moment or heavily crriple Larva's economy, instead they were killed right away. Anyhow he kept being hyper aggressive and managed to win. Had he gave a minute to larva to regroup would have turned the table.
Zero's web seminar about defending a third on CB, including the following lessons : - Build over 20 defilers... what else would you need gas for ? - Fight under swarm, always. - Plague the shit out of everything, cuz you can. - Kill vessels like they're puppies.
Seriously, this game goes straight to the GOTW highlights, such a good fight with the best terran in the world.
Last off-racing as Protoss. In the 20 years of my experience with BW, I had not seen anything like this. Never mind the staggering skill discrepancy, it was a super pimp move from Last.

ok... this game is the craziest shit i have ever seen in my entire life... remember that satanik vs some guy @ rush hour 3? that game is fucking garbage compared to this one... i mean, i fucking hate zvz but this game is just INCREDIBLE.... 100% Must watch
Game starts at 4:35, its the second game of the video.

Three things i want to say: 1) One can remark that u don't need very high apm to execute this strategy! Snow had 250apm. which is resonable 2) Is it possible to do this strategy on FS ? 3) At the late middle - end game , why Snow didn't go for templars? he had enough minerals and 3.5 k unusable gas !
Bisu played a funny/frustrating game where basically everything went wrong for him....it was just the worst luck I've ever seen.
I mean everything that could have gone wrong actually went wrong...missed recalls, goons running into mines, DT's getting no kills, horrible stasis's...
it is nice to know that even pro-gamers have difficulty....sometimes...it is a love-hate relationship with BW

amazing series Flash vs Best the other day just magical... game on f.s is just crazy how many times you think the game should be pretty much over / one sided but carries on...
I don't know why some people say that Snow has the best PvT , and after him Rain , but when i see Stork or Best vs terran, i think they are special! Best with his unbelivable macro and Stork with his decision making! And remember, Stork has 100 less apm than Snow or Rain

If the guy was able to be playing more steadily, nobody myself included would doubt him. He probably has the 2nd best PvT in the world and can be the best protoss out there when hes playing his A-game. Unfortunatley, hes choking a lot, especially on stage / under pressure, and sometimes (way too often) hes going to throw a random game for no reason. I.E. I suggest you (re)watch Mind vs Best ASL 7 RO16 5th game on Block Chain. Anybody else than Best : the scene would have requested an investigation for throwing the match. But since it was Best, it was just another day at the office.
As for stork, I think he went 0-10 against flash at one point in sponmatches this month, otherwise his PvT is quite good too, ahead of bisu imo.
The sponsered match between Yoon and Flash posted by StarcastTV is totally worth your time... The never ending sound of m&m dying in the first game was music to my ears...
Masterfull play from Light was getting run over in the mid game, the game was was in the hands of prootss to win. Light getting busted as his 3rd over and over again but has just enough of a skeleton army to hold on to that 3rd still manages to defend his quarter of the map moving out slightly staying in cover of his own (small number) tanks with no timing 2-1 he manages to take control of his part of the map and is able to put pressure on protoss in late game with a solid push to protoss main just a textbook beauty on how to hold on have patients and aim for the late game
team spon match FlaSh vs Stork absolutely madness fighter protoss style (rvr storm drops upgrades into arb late game )vs flash upgrade style v.afree.ca from 3:45 start
Please watch this game, it's Mini's reavers vs JD's zerg. For those who find joy in watching the game beeing played to the fullest I think you may find this first person vod to be a very enjoyable experience.

20-minute mark: Short, ridiculous game between Bisu and Light.
Edit: Wow, prosatan, just that first game was so entertaining. He just makes it look easy. Watching those probes pop took me back to 2009. Perfect teamwork between Jaedong and Effort. What a scary team. Game 2, can you even imagine playing against Effort/Jaedong when Jaedong randoms Zerg? Not fair, not reasonable ;-)

Agree 100% Djabanete Even if the other team is good too, it is scary to face JD+effort
Snow and Light (starts at 1hr 24m 41s) and the subsequent two matches as well (map 7, 8, 9 basically)
absolute masterclass from the winners
Nice games!
Odd spider mine behavior at 2h 0m 32s. Maybe because of the tileset?
The spider mine detected the DT when the DT was detected by the Turret first, but as soon as the DT moved out of range of the Turret, the game "reset" its detection status to "undetected", which made the spider mine lose tracking of the DT, because it detected the DT based off the Turret's detection and not its own internal one.
SCVN is the top Broodwar tournament in Vietnam. The player levels are questionable and yet this game is in Series B which is kind of like K League (Series A would be like Pro league). So you get the backgound.
BUT...
If you like long and epic games, this is a PvP on Radeon that has plenty of twists and turns, advanced units, lots of bases getting created and destroyed and with a totally unexpected ending.
