Noob mistake happens, no absolute prove progamers are losing games on purpose. there was a LOT of Money involved in that if you recall. and I can't imagine many people getting the better End of that transaction, except a select few. you know this is purely coincidence but Rekrul made a lot of Money off of that game/series in particular and he's the one that opened the lid on this situation... Just an observation The prize Money IdrA could earn is more than than whatever Rekrul could pay him to do it, so it wouldn't make any Sense.
Rekrul is a poker player. Poker players are on level 3 or level 4, and non poker players are on level 1 or level 0. The fact he made a thread here taking Action instead of getting Action in Korea Where no one here would Notice, would be the obvious reason for him to not make a thread here since it wouldn't make Sense and would arouse suspicion so he expected us to not expect him to expect making a thread taking Action. For those of us on TL still suspicious of this, because we are on level 2 or 3 b/c they play poker as well, like Smuft or Nazgul, he would expect them to expect him not to expect them to think he would still make a thread taking Action, taking it to level 5. Which is another reason he later joked about in a post, saying he rigged the games with IdrA, that was him taking it to level 6, which is Really level 1.
I would imagine him and IdrA made a couple hundred grand off of this, and the capped $2500 thread was Just some sort of alibi. $2500 is barely enough to buyin at 10/20, hardly worth gambling at all.

Are you nuts? Who is rekrul going to be betting this kind of money with for amateur Starcraft games? People aren't stupid they wouldn't even take up this kind of action with him.

yes, the payouts for korea air force making to ACE match is very high, wouldn't be surprised it happened. Looking how jangbi and fbh play their last game is really suspicious, they know what was going on.

very subtle there, fomos... btw how did you find out that it was THAT specific picture anyways?

Regardless of whether these allegations against Savior are true or false, we are pretty much assured that Savior's career will become tainted and may very well end in the upcoming month.

Innocent until proven guilty imo. I always liked to believe that players are clean . . .

So Fomos can give us little hints and let the rumor mill run wild, but the truth is illegal? I don't understand. Rumors can be far more damaging than official suspicion—and at least if someone reported on who was implicated, the suspects would be able to step up and defend themselves without seeming a "little too worried about rumors". I agree. If the names are released, then the fandom can confirm things, hate on and cry about the involved players, and then move on. Right now, though, everyone is free to suspect every single player and every single game ever played. Rumors, many of them totally unsubstantiated, are already starting to fly left and right. Right now, people can accuse any number of perfectly legit players and coaches of crimes, the scope of which can and will be greatly exaggerated. And all of this has the potential to be very damaging to the e-sports scene as a whole. The best thing Kespa can do now is publically fess up, name and disbar the players involved, and make very clear the exact extent and incidences of their crimes. The longer the scene goes without confirmation, the more damage will be done...
The whole point is that they haven't found out for certain how many gamers are really guilty of this. Why release a list and then have to add or remove names from it. If you wrongly put someone on an official list when no charges have been pressed, then you've ruined his career forever. If you release a list leaving out some guilty parties then not only will fans feel betrayed later on when names are added but Kespa will look even more stupid.
No list can be released until they've finished their investigation. It's such a serious issue so they to be thorough and not mess things up even further by rushing the investigation.

I agree with LunarDestiny.
Take a look at the TSL. Idra ESC cancels a CC to lose one of his games. Ends up losing one game because of a 13 CC build against cheese. And turns around and does the exact same build against the same cheese in the next game. Especially after saying to the media before hand that the only way Nony could beat him is with cheese. I don't see anyone flying the red flag of suspicion here.
Stuff happens. Not only do people make newbie mistakes occasionally but they also make stupid mistakes in the search for bragging rights. When I play against a friend that I know I am better then, I don't play in the same manner I would against a player on the same skill level as me. I do stupid little stuff like trying to cannon rush his natural or disruptive web push, we all do it.
There's always the chance that the thought that went through Savior's head was 'Oh, he tried to cheese me, haha, watch me cheese him back, I'm just that good.' And then the smirk at the end is because he realized his arrogance just cost him what would have been an easy win.
Innocent until proven guilty, and that Savior v Spear game prove nothing other than the fact that Savior is an obnoxious asshole like the rest of us.

This whole 'reveal name' crap have been going on in Korea itself for years.
They consider it as personal harassment if they reveal the names of the accusers because they weren't proven guilty yet. If they don't turn out to be guilty in reality, the government just harassed the person by revealing its name as <insertcrimehere>, and to Koreans, that doesn't sound right.
Now, this issue was huge few months ago when a middle school girl was raped and killed in South Korea.
While they were investigating, the government knew their prime suspect, yet they didn't release his name until they became desperate. Why? Because the law said not to. Many people were raging because of this decision. Have they not, the suspect would have been arrested sooner, and the girl might have lived.
So yea. Korea. They might have suspects and all, but unless they are really desperate to catch the person or so, they won't release the names due to personal harassment issues. I mean, you don't want to say IdrA threw that game off with CC unless he's proven guilty, right?

Do you guys have thought about Bisu's slump? It would explain many things.

I appriciate the new info but i dont think this entitles its own thread, yeah fomos have suspected games but its not actual proof like the title suggests, also most of the post is your own opinion which i dont really agree with, they're not going to pick a photo which has some subliminal messaging which serves to confirm the rumors :\ Thanks for the info though

Doing so would be pretty naiive to be honest. Do you really not understand the appeal of making more money by working less and not having to win vs busting you ass off for one match that probably won't even mean that much to you?
Example: Luxury v Hwasin on roadrunner. I think its really obvious that game was thrown considering how laughable luxury's micro was and his decision to sac 5 drones trying to stop a bunker that was clearly not even in range of his natural hatch. Does that game mean anythin gto luxury? No. He just made some easy money from it. To be honest I'd do the same if I were given the opportunity.

Honestly by your standard of suspicion anything short of sending all workers to the middle of the map for 5 minutes is probably just an accident, right? Theres no way a progamer who spends 10 hours every day for 5 years would defend as miserably as luxury defended vs Hwasin.
And again, ITS NOT THAT HARD TO BELIEVE IT WOULD HAPPEN. It's easy money that u get from working less. Put yourself in that position. You have an upcoming proleague match. Wat's more appealing to you: practice the entire day studying the map and studying the other player and working to form a build to play against him and then learning all the intricacies of the build for the next 3 days or just purposely agreeing to make a blunder and profit from it.
