I suggest the Peromyscus Maniculatus. + Show Spoiler + It fits very nice in your hand. It's ergonomic design is simply stunning. Add to that it's nice temperature that ensures you don't have to try to micro your units with cold hands(mission impossible) and you already have a strong favorite at your hands. It's weight is customiceable between 10 and 22 grams. Moreover you got it's supreme reaction times which makes it the perfect mouse to go pro!

cive thanks for review. I am definatelly thinking about razer abyssus since it's very light and cheap. Anyone has to say something bad about this mouse?

It is true that the G5 is too heavy for RTS. I've used a G5 for years as a Quake player, and used most of the heavy weights that come with it. When I started playing SC2, I noticed it felt a hell of a lot better if I just took all the weights out, and I still want it lighter. I'm going to get a Xai.
All you can really do is try to find these mice on display somewhere to try them out, or just buy one that you feel best about and hope you like it. Almost all mice have notoriously bad companion software, so just know what you're getting into there. For example, with my G5, I have to use an older version of SetPoint because in the newer versions there are random DPI-switching issues. Supposedly the macro software for the Xai is terrible, but the whole selling point of the Xai is that you can adjust it without the need for software.
Just do your research if you are really concerned about it.

Why not a laser mouse? I was under the impression that they were better than optical mice...

depends on how you grip it. if you use finger grip go for Razer Abyssus, Kreit, Xai if you palm grip it go for DeathAdder

I use razer abyssus (claw) and i must say its way better than all the logitech ones ive used, which is like all of them.

Wow... A LOT of Razer fanboys in here - SO I guess I will be the only vote for the Steelseries Ikari - I LOVE it.

So razer abyssus is optical mouse? I thought for sure it's laser Isn't laser mouses better than optical?

Using razer deathadder for 1,5 years now. Best mouse Ive used. Better than mx510/518/razer copperhead.

Any mouse that you are comfortable with = best mouse there is. Low sensitivity is also good.

I was under the impression that they were better than optical mice... They aren't inherently better. That's just meaningless marketing and DPI numbers. Depends on the mice/sensors being compared. Deathadder for example can definitely match and surpass the latest in laser sensors.

I suggest learning how TL works and not making threads like this.
Your first choice should be to search. Your second choice should be to search. Your third choice should be to search. In fact, given the topic, you should probably never make a new thread about SC2 mice.
