There is a separate qualifier for Taiwan;)

Ro32, BO3 Double Elimination Ro16, divided into 4 Groups works exactly? Where do the losers of the Ro32 feed back in exactly?

As far as i know, there's european, american, korean, chinese, and taiwan qualifiers, but what's the distributioin from each region? I'd guess 2:2:2:1:1. No, because there will be 16 players for Blizzcon. It should be 2 from each region but I haven't heard anything for a RU qualifier and the EURO qualifier this time had white-ra in it. So they may have excluded spots for RU and perhaps invite the previous blizzcon champion and runner-up. I read one article that Genius was expected back but that wasn't a source from blizz itself. Blizz really doesn't release enough information about its tournament structure. :/

You only ever heard about a few major tournaments and I feel like a lot got lost in translation. If we can help bring the chinese scene closer to us, it might help bring the chinese players closer to foreign players and get them more involved, etc~~

Their players do things you don't see on other servers or in different ways. I was watching a Lovecd replay today (he was playing MKP) and I noticed his vision he had created with pylon placement throughout the game. The scary part is he started this pylon layout over 10 in game minutes before that screenshot. If I am correct (this is just a suspicion) I think he had every pylon throughout the entire game mapped out 0_O!

Well, if there is too much lag with "China -> NA" or "China -> EU" they could invite at least NA teams to their server, Diamond mentioned that "NA -> China" is close to perfect, which is why he (from NA) practises mainly on the Chinese servers.

What if you got so many, they can take spores and such out easily, but having a few blink stalkers also running around sniping overseers that are newly created, or perhaps warp prism with archons/stalker/ht for feedback dmg? Interesting idea I think but would probably require gosu micro! I've also thought about this. I think that just like corsair/dt was really strong in BW, in SC2 I think that Blink stalkers/dts would be really strong. Same techtree and stalkers are so good at sniping spores and overseers.

Basically it can be a strong build but lots of micro is needed, another problem are the infestors, they own stalkers quite nicely. I think that was the reason the build never got popular, it was called "ninja build" btw. I'd still like to see some Bisu-like build with lots of harass! (Hi Sage)

It's only a matter of time til we see a lot more refined play from them. Currently it looks similar to what SC2 did ~9 months ago... a lot of 1 base all-inny plays. Should evolve in no time though.

The StarsWar tournament only had six Chinese players, all of whom had to play through some pretty long, grueling qualifiers to get there. They were the "cream of the crop," so to speak, and among those six, I would say that only three of them (xiaOt, Lovecd, LoveTT -- aka, the Protoss players) were any good - and by "good", I mean potentially GSL-quality players. xiaOt impressed me the most; he was easily Code A level at the time -- maybe even low- to mid-Code S level. I am still depressed at the thought of his retirement. Meanwhile, LoveTT and Lovecd both didn't impress me that much, but I think if they can clean up their play a bit, they could make Code A. XiGua has been getting a lot of hype lately. I don't think he's better than Moon though, to be honest. He's definitely not as impressive as Sen, IMHO.

LoveCD is pretty good and consistant. Top 2 China Protoss probably. He is sky's little brother (top HU war3 player, used to be number 1 during 2005-2008). Xigua just won the WCG China so he is pretty sick as well. Obviously, Uhen who just bet Xigua and LoveTT (1st or 2nd best Protoss from China) must be a top player as well. And to finish Loner, ex semi-pro War3 player, playing since early Beta, used to be quite good and even competed in the Blizzcon/GSL where he did decent, though he always semt to lack that little something which makes an excellent player, a dominant one. But as he won his group 3-0, things might have changed. About the others, I'm not sure, but Starcraft 2 is still a very young game so there's definitely some chances that they might be excellent and even better than these 4. __________ Xigua to me is the favorite, because he has been dominant lately winning both G-league (2 months ago) and WCG China 2011, 2 latest Chinese tournaments, plus Zerg current state is excellent.

__________ Xigua to me is the favorite, because he has been dominant lately winning both G-league (2 months ago) and WCG China 2011, plus Zerg current state is excellent. Well you beat me to it lol! Just something to add that Lovecd in the StarsWar tournament beat (in order) to get 2nd place: IM.NesTea, Liquid`TLO, mTw.Dimaga and WE.GIGA.Lovett!!! 0_o

Very disappointed and I hope this works out before the cast starts, I have reached out to Blizz NA. That is so bullshit. If Blizzard cant get a stream for their own tournament they should just greet outsiders who want to spread it with open arms. Once again Blizzards e-sports department makes a silly move. You even switched name for it to work out...

There's apparently a Blizz stream they decided to put together last minute. So I don't know I THOUGHT we were, and I even talked to Blizz NA all day and they had no issues with it. This is the weirdest thing I've ran into yet.....
