To be honest, I think he does. I think she should be fired.

If you're letting something as stupid as this keep you from enjoying the game and its community, you live a sad life and I hope you get your priorities in order. Yeah because my feelings on whether or not it's appropriate for the people who are representing esports to the masses to hatefully use the words 'nigger' and 'faggot' is a direct representation of my lifes priorities. It's so funny because the same people who say "it's just the internet, who cares!" are the same ones saying "support esports, make esports grow, we love esports!". You're on a site dedicated to StarCraft 2, Orb ( as sad as it is ) represents a huge orginzation that is vital to the growth of StarCraft and eSports in general. When he acts like the immature, raging, ignorant child that he is ( seriously why did they hire him ) it reflects horribly on both SC and eSports. If you can't understand that then I don't know what to say. Do you think any of EG's sponsors would be happy about this? No. Do you think this is something that EG is happy about? No. Do you think that in the future when sponsors look at EG's past employees that this is something that is going to make them want to invest in them? No.

Seriously this community is dramatizes so many things. Destiny uses "nigger" on stream all the time, yet I don't see people constantly new threads to disparage him. EG and their disciplinary action is another story altogether. Please don't give me that bullshit about "killing Esports" also, most people hate/don't listen to Orb anyways. the sentiment from most people seems to be when you represent yourself you can do what you like and people can take it or leave it, but when you represent an organisation you have to be a lot more careful in how you act. This will be hard to ignore for Alex and EG i dont see the need to attempt to hurt EG for this. even if you feel they should let him go (if they dont) or you feel they shouldnt (if they do) atleast wait for them to say something before hurr try and lose them money.

I fully expect orb to lose his job at EG over this, not because he should but because this is turning into a huge deal and if they don't do anything people will remember that. EG does not want to lose community support.

Every other game on battle.net, regardless of win or lose, a person generally PMs me with something such as "ez u faget". This is no different. If you don't like his language, don't watch his stream, but making drama threads like this is uncalled for. No different than Jessica calling out Dragon publicly. Brother, you and I are in the small minority. I agree with you, but I think this is too late.

If you're letting something as stupid as this keep you from enjoying the game and its community, you live a sad life and I hope you get your priorities in order. Because you can't let people say whatever they want when they represent sponsors and are viewed by thousands of eyes, there are plenty of black people that get upset at a negative use of the word nigger and PLENTY of gay people who will get upset when people use the word faggot, this stuff isn't accepted on main stream television and if esports is to grow it can't be accepted when said by growing pillars of the community. Guess what, when he's playing a ladder game, he's not representing shit. He's not casting games, he's not doing his job, he's playing around like you and me. You can't tell me that he doesn't have the right to express himself freely when he's on his free time. If you're getting offended, it's because you're hunting orb down on his free time. Otherwise you'd never see it.

Once the scene has been cleansed from all unprofessionalism, it will instantly become the new soccer/football/basketball. It is their duty to carry out that cleansing, no matter the cost People care that he's using words offensive to entire communities of people who have nothing to do with him losing at a video game. It has nothing to do with growing e-sports and everything to do with mannering up.

Can't have those double standards dangling around. ^^ Idra isn't racist. I don't remember he writing personal offenses in game chat, he always complaing about cheesing/other races, no big deal there. I hope you realize that "faggot" is just as unacceptable as "nigger," as are phrases telling the person on the other end they're worthless shits and deserve to die. Not to mention his BM of Cruncher and statements about his weight, which many people here (probably pitchforking orb even in this thread) laughed at. And IdrA did all this while on EG's roster, and they haven't kicked him. Randomly, I really hope it wasn't this drama that crashed TL for a couple minutes there ... :/ Yeah, but the differance is that Idra's BM makes EG money. He brings attention to EG and whatever negative publicity comes with these statements is just written off as Idra being Idra. It is a horrible double standard for I can almost guarantee you that Orb will be punished in some pay. However, if you think that these doublestandards are unfair then you need to voice your displeasure. Otherwise, Orb's remarks will eventually just be construed as Orb being Orb. Really, it's just up to community to establish what is acceptable language/behavior/
