Yeah, that's never gonna happen
He might have a chance while he's still young to the game but after a year or so, Flash will start dominating.
I don't even think it'll be much of an issue because once Hots comes out, bw pros and sc2 pros will be on even footing cause the new units will change everything and the meta game will be completely new and nothing will be figured out yet for the most part.

You guys have to remember that the skillset to be the best at SC2 is slightly different than BW. No longer you need to keep pressing as much keys and do a lot of other kinds of mechanical actions in SC2 as you had to in BW to do the same thing.
I remember an interview where flash said that he scanned someones base and literally seen some positioning of buildings and movements of units, due to this he was able to completely predict the opponents strategy. People seem to think that BW is completely 100% mechanics and that you don't actually have to think...
Now when we are talking about mechanics, BW AI and stuff I just gotta post some Bisu fpvods for you who haven't seen it already. Not the best quality but it still pure sex, plus Tastosis casting the background! Enjoy!!!

This combined is a player the caliber of Flash...Whether it takes 2 months or 1 year...Flash has these talents and will no doubt be a force in Sc2 based on this alone.
I hope that is true and it will be interesting to see how much of that he can actually do if he really switches. I generally like the fact that in SC2 you cannot gain as much advantage over your opponent as in BW by simply being able to click buttons faster than him.
I like that fact too and is something I argue with my bw friend all the time. A lot of the "skill" in bw is artificial and comes from mastering the outdated and archaic UI, which takes rote practice to master. Therefore, you could have players with superior decision making and smarts in bw than others, but they just don't have the mechanics to keep up with their brilliant tactical mind. SC 2 will allow those players to shine more than those who just relied on rote mechanics.
This is so bullcrap.
So iloveoov, savior, bisu, made names for themselves through artificial skill from mastering the UI? Funny, I thought it was because they revolutionized the metagame repeatedly with genius decision making and smarts.
No, the very top players like bisu, flash etc will still shine regardless in bw. I'm talking about the b-teamers or unknowns who could be better than the A-teamers if not for the UI. Sc2 will remove this handicap, which is what I'm looking forward to.
Lol, how could you be better than an A-teamer if you couldn't master the UI? I've never even heard of any B-teamers having an issue with mastering the UI, or the UI holding unknown talents back. That's laughable.

are you seriously saying b-teamers are b-teamers because they're having problem with bw's UI... goddamn.
i replied to your post regarding "fighting UI" because i dont see it, maybe you can explain to me what you mean by "handicap". bw pros have no problem doing things that sc2 pros can do with sc2, except for forcefields...that'll be a bitch on bw. i'd rather see pros do things that i can't, i can cast forcefield and storm like any top tier protoss, i can't storm like bw pros though.

Please go troll somewhere else. Your Sig says "SC2 = bad". Why are you posting in the SC2 forums?
why must you treat the forums like some sort of segregated restaurant? the sc2 forum isn't anybody's turf, just be friendly and you won't have to deal with people coming into "your forum" and causing a ruckus.
flash will indeed crush everyone in due time. the peak in skill so far has been minimal and i, for one, am glad to see a new horizon in terms of the growth of the game. hopefully flash's arrival on the scene will act as a serious wake-up call to the current players.

Not necessarily. Just saying the potential is there.

Stars Coach Lee: I first thought that the better players in SC1 would be better players in SC2, but it didn’t hold true for everyone. It’s more of a case-by-case thing. Some players are only good at SC1, some only at SC2, and some are good at both. In any case, I’m confident that practice will make up for the gaps. Honestly, some of the players that were, let’s say, terrible at SC1, are now absolutely demolishing others in SC2. We all started at the same time, but already we’re seeing skill differences.
Based on that, it seems pointless to argue who's going to be good and who isn't. But the operative word from the quote is "practice," which we know Flash will do in spades. So whatever mojo that made Flash what he is in SC1 isn't necessarily going to make him a god in SC2, but at least we know his perseverence and hard-work "may" overcome any deficiencies he might have in SC2.

If you want a real comparison between the quality of posters in each forum just look at their respective LR threads (I use that term very loosely for SC2).
