That was hilarious haha, one of the funnier posts I've seen this year. Anyways, I don't think MMA is being demoted because his play sucks or something. He is still in code A ro32 so he still has a decent shot of getting into code S next season, or at worse, stays in code A. I think he either started a fight with one of the players or pissed off Jessica.
MMA is just throwing a huge fit, trying to get some media attention. Nothing much, he's just trying to go back into the A team without boxer's punishments or anything. nothing to big, move along kids.
It just seems embarrassing for both the team and MMA for there to be news like this. If you have internal problems, deal with it, reach a conclusion, and release a joint statement. This is just needless drama, which I suspect is what they're going for anyway.
I do wonder what goes in the mind of EG players like Thorzain who's staying there specifically to practice with MMA-caliber players. They still have other good players I suppose, but its a shame.
SK.MMA ... ... ... on a more serious note I hope this problem gets solved without MMA and Crank leaving SlayerS. At the moment MMA behaves like a rebellious child imo. Hope he will snap out of it.
With just this side of the story, it looks really bad imo. If a star player gets benched in any sports league and they demand a trade, it looks bad on the player, not the coach/team. You have to accept the team's decision to do what's best, and even if they are wrong, not act like a baby.

Drama causing an implosion is sad but maybe it'll be for the best. There are just way too many teams right now for there to be enough money to support. There are going to be mergers and teams are going to die until we end up with maybe half the teams currently around, but the new bigger teams will be better funded.
As long as there are esports, boxer's name will always be highly regarded.

MMA was being a bad boy and getting in trouble disciplinary wise. This has nothing to do with his play. Boxer punished him by sending him down to the B team. (He did NOT get kicked out of the Slayers house) MMA thinks this is unfair and wants to leave to a foreign team, but he cannot unless he gets permission from Slayers due to his contract. Slayers is not going to tell us why he got punished or what he did wrong.
Please somebody edit this into the intro so people stop the rampant misinformation now.
no, the article does not say that specifically, slideSC2 took some liberties there in interpertation

Seriously, give me a break. Boxer's name isn't tarnished because his skills have waned a bit, and SlayerS has so much more than that. MMA hasn't been relevant this whole season of GSTL, has he even won a match? Coca/Puzzle/Alicia/Crank/Ryung, the team is looking fantastic with MMA or without (don't get me wrong, I am a huge MMA fan and don't want him to leave).
SlayerS has always been one of my favorite teams to watch. I hope the issue is resolved quickly. MMA has always been one of the most consistent Starcraft 2 players.
