This reminds me when i started with the game, i always looked at the apm number, then i realized that is just a worthless stat. | ||

I think that's why he said "JulyZerg in his SC1 prime hit 818 APM." "Hit" meaning something along the lines of "got up to" or "peak." | ||

No, I mean 'peak within that game', as the stat shows. That means fuck all, anyone can spam keys (or hold a key down) briefly to get absurd APM. What matters is your average over the entire game. | ||

(Hint: It's not Vibe) eAPM is pretty arbitrary for me, and a bit racially biased as a metric. For example Protoss build fewer units than a Zerg, especially a Zerg playing ling-based styles. What's the metric that is stored in SC2gears btw? Both stats have some usefulness to them, but both have their flaws as well. | ||
