I was just wondering.. does anyone know where have Sheth & Zenio been?! or how about Puma?
I think many players have been out of scene for quite a while now. There are surely a ton more I have forgotten, so, can anyone name another pro-player that has been missing out in the last months?
And can anyone name some info onto what they have been up? (the "missing" player, that is)
yeah Sheth is taking a break to take care of his health issues, we dont know anything about puma since his release from EG and Zenio is still playing for EGTL in PL
It will be very hard for Sheth to catch up now that he's been away for so long, and with the release of HotS, I can't see him catch up, since even before he took his break, he was still an up and coming player.
Sheth was having wrist issues last I heard, taking a health related break. Pume retired as far as I know after his contract with EG wasn't renewed. Zenio is still trucking, not a code s level player but still preforming decently for TL in team leagues.
Still wondering what all those pros do after their retirement.. Some will be pretty old and most of them have a bad to non education. Doesn't look like a bright future after such a carrer, does it?
We need a thread about players where it seems that thy have just turned into dust and disappeared. i honestly have no idea what EG-TL have been up to. it seems that they havent really focused on picking up new players in HOTS (besides Oz and Alive for EG but still they haven't picked up NEW talent) I honnestly see when/if prime disbands that EG or TL picks them up.

They are still quite young, won't be too bad for them to go back to full time school if they could get in.
Someone mentioned in sheth fan club that ret said sheth is gonna retire after sorting out the wrist and health issue (overweight health issues coming up)

He shouldn't have joined EG... XD
By that I just mean that if he stayed on a Korean team his skills probably would have stayed sharper and he wouldn't have gotten so discouraged, and probably would have had a more stable career.

Yeah. God forbid somebody receive the money they deserve. No salary > competitive US salary after all, it's a no brainer.

He definitely made more money on EG (Salary + all those tournies he placed well in) than he would if he stayed on TSL.

do some research before making a shit thread that could of been avoided.

Select seems to be doing well enough on the catch up. If Sheth is able to play a lot, I'm sure he'll be a foreigner threat before long.

Source?
Whiplash is the source!
Whiplash himself is not a reliable source imo :/ We need some kind of announcement for it to be official.
We had a lot of new like this before with community members as source, and why a caster living in Korea, casting Proleague isn't a reliable source for information regarding a proleague participating team's former member?

No. I wouldn't do that. I was beat anyway
Anyway, I am a bit curious as I really haven't seen much of Sheth at all. I sure hope everything is going well for him currently. I'm sure he's made many posts under the Liquid Team News, it's just never something I notice. Maybe I'll look through it, haha.

he probably made over $200k between salary and winnings with EG. That would have never happened had he stayed on a Korean team.

Koreans, probably do their mandatory military service. Then they must do something like school or w/e or just find a job and get on with their lives. I wouldn't be surprised if some people just do their mandatory service and choose to stay in the military as a career.
In the end, they move on with their lives in some way. A lucky few might be able to transition into other roles in esports but many wont.

Your post sounds more like hints than expectations. Source?
