The problem I feel with this game is that any damage zerg takes is far too permanent. I'm talking about widow mine shots on mutas, storms, well any damage goes really.
I feel that the terran has great abilities to heal units with both medivacs and SCV repairs.
So this leaves the protoss. The protoss units have shields which regenerate way faster than zerg does, as well as upgrades for it at the forge. They are also a pretty evasive race, concidering the forcefields, blink, collosi, tempest, storm.. etc. So they're not as much in need of the heals, and again shields are super fast and are a big chunk before any hull damage is done.
Now, you will say "oh but all zerg units regenerate". And while this is true they do it SLOWLY. So slow it doesn't really matter much, I would like it so that the broodwar mechanic would be re-introduced, or that an upgrade can be researched at lair for it.
Also, the roaches are nice but it's ONE unit, that has to have both the burrow upgrade AND the roach warren upgrade for them to be effective at healing up, transfuses are great
but the way it works is kind of like the shield battery did for protoss, which is just not fun.
I can't believe the way to counter protoss air is not hydra infestor, but mostly queens with transfuses, (and then hydra infestor corrutpor to kind of help out) It's just silly to think that a slow, mainly a support unit go out, being forced to spam heals. Transfuse should only work on buildings and spines, maybe massive units, there should be no need for zerg to micro multitask injects, creep tumors AND injecting the army to have a proper game. Anyways, the transfuse still has the problem that it's just one unit heal, which is problematic when you have tons of hurt hydras for example.
So in conclusion there would be nothing broken about letting zerg heal faster on creep, I feel it would be more fair, and again as a nerf the transfuse could be changed as stated above. Maybe make the fungal growth heal your own units in AoE?
Anyways curious to see what you think..
