Bad jokes aside, it'd be nice if roles of staff could be outlined at some point (when the Staff actaully get the time to do it ofc and assuming they're willing). Tl.net has an excellent community, it'd be interesting to know where all the Staff sit in maintaining that. Nevertheless, I think this probably belongs in another forum.

The large number of staff is due to the fact that not everyone is active at all times. Meat and Naz are the admins that started the site. Saro and more recently Pop do the technical nitty gritty stuff, Saro more with the website as Pop was focused on TLPD. Mani is also an admin. Inactive mods (people i haven't really seen post/moderate in a while): Arbiter[frolix], Legionnaire, mensrea, Twisted, uhjoo, Wax, X)Benny, TKWL. Everyone else in red is an active or semi-active moderator, Klogon, ManaBlue, Carnac, Bey, Rekrul, Mani, ETT. As for Newsposters, I'm not fully sure as to what everyone does. For the people I do know: DJEtterStyle - Power Rank / ProGaming / TLFE HnR)Insane - Ladder jkillashark - Results & Standings Thread KizZBG - Graphics zxk3 (not technically staff) - Graphics Pressure - Calendar Pop - LiquiBet, TLPD SonuvBob - TLPD thedeadhaji - TLPD / ProGaming / TLFE ManaBlue - ProGaming / TLFE Hot_Bid - ProGaming / TLFE GTR-2-Go - ProGaming Live2Win - ProGaming Mnm - WCG / Foreigner ProGaming PuertoRican - WCG / Foreigner ProGaming There's also a "Replay Uploader" status but it's more for MiR access I think?

PoP: All coding, general pimpness. 90% of the overall work. SonuvBob: PoP's bitch and personal website feedback forum. (Basically a lot of little things from the end of March through its release. Now I mostly just slack off) Haji, GTR: Adding new games since TLPD's release. VioleTAK: Adding VOD links by the thousands. KizzBG: Almost all graphics. zxk3: The hot TLPD header on the right sidebar. Taiche gave us the map pics/info, and I think Kennigit gave us some design ideas.

Hot_Bid summed up the reason I was brought on board(as well as many of the other staff members roles). It was last summer, just over a year ago, when Saro noticed there wasn't a lot of coverage during certain hours, and he noticed I was an extremely active, helpful poster who seemed to understand the nuances of moderation on this site. I also happened to be from the USA, whereas most other moderators are from Europe/Asia, so I was active when many of them were not. Thus, I was promoted. I tried my hand at a special project or two, but because of real life, I never seemed to be able to dedicate as much time to them as I wanted to (which is a piss poor excuse I know, given the full plate Mani has in his life, yet still does as much as he does for us all), so because I couldn't reliably commit myself to anything, I've stuck with just moderation for now. I don't post nearly as much as I did a year ago, but I'm on TL.net several times a day, every single day, so I still do what I was originally brought here to do. There's also a "Replay Uploader" status but it's more for MiR access I think? Pretty much, it's the lowest status you can be staff with... primarily given out just to have access to the MiR and such(for actual Team Liquid members, like Zephyr), or for actual replay uploaders (see paladinROMAD).
