On top of that I think its safe to say that Mousesports is a really good team too. They've been trending up for 6 months now and probably have more upside than any other team right now. no they aren't bad because they have simple on their team Thats unfair though, most of their big wins were when Simple wasnt hard carrying. Still fragging hard but there were contributions everywhere else that were more than just meaningfull. Again its also kinda disrespectful to how well Mousesports is aswell to just say the finalist that went through Faze and Astralis is "really bad". But okk.. I never said mouz were bad, I think they are a good team. But do you honestly think this final had high level gameplay?
From Mouz and Simple sure. Mirage was kinda bad though.

yes but just because Na'vi played a bad game today doesnt just make them "bad" because clearly they are capable of beating better teams aswell.
I mean wtf do you mean beating the teams they did isnt stellar reading. Then what is stellar reading ?

Come on dude, Mouz is a super strong team at the moment
and NaVi was a big question mark after the swiss round, like literally everyone thought they were going to lose vs Astralis, then vs FaZe, but they made it
Sure, having s1mple being a beast is a plus always, but flamie+electronic also added some much needed good performances too.
It's incredibly unfair to say navi is super bad because they clearly worked on their stuff and they still have lot to work on (T side mirage is... something else) but they clearly showed that they are in a much better position than a few months ago.
They are a strong team right now, they just need to show that it wasn't a fluke. Mouz has been playing well for quite some time, much longer than Navi

beating both astralis and faze in bo3 shouldnt be overlooked. they are hardest teams to play against in boX along with SK. when the last time navi looked this strong, it was 2017 eleague major, which was in january. shame that zeus had a shocker on mirage, and electronic/flamie went full choke on train, but it became a good experience for electronic since it was his first big final.
navi are slowly getting there. they are extremely strong on three maps as it stands (train, overpass and inferno). once they improve their mirage and nuke, they will be top 4 again.

Just returned home and what do I see? Guess NaVi and winning are incompatible. Especially here at home ground, fml. Second again? Sounds familiar...

Zeus on Mirage was just historically terrible. I feel for the guy. It was beyond embarrassing.

Going toe to toe on Mirage vs easily the best Mirage team right now was something NOBODY expected, especially with that terrible T side. something to look forward to be honest
If NaVi can make electronic/flamie be more consistent and work A LITTLE on their T sides, they win a major.

Thats hard to say considering how competitive the landscape is. And this year will probably have more unique tournament winners then ever.
Think about it, the current major winner didnt make it through groups at Star Series and the top 2 teams at StarSeries didnt even make it through the qualifier for Katowice (Granted they improved massively since, but that means that other teams can do the same thing)
Meanwhile VP gets invited to everything still. Although I think their free invite capital will run out after katowice.
