So, I feel pretty much hit a hard wall with my wizard and need tons of gold/gems to progress. Probably going to start working on my monk. If I want to do solo monk build what skill builds should I be looking to be my main damage dealer? Specific stats? Or is it still the generic trifecta? How important is AS to monk?

You mean the ammy? The str used to be loh or something... If you were talking about the TF, the dmg was very bad (less than 2k dps before the re-roll). I have another TF with higher dmg roll without the vit. I find the Vit very helpful because of the ammy and helm both having life %

Ok so the active thing really doesn't matter too too much. Well you can use it any time. Think of Mantras as two-fold. One part is the passive that's always up, but the other part is a free "emergency" button that you can activate whenever to give you the extra buff. For example, Mantra of Conviction, it's always giving you a passive damage buff. But if you ran into an elite pack, you could hit your mantra active for the GREATER damage bonus for a few seconds, to burn them down faster.
That's just how they function. I have no idea if any of the actives are USEFUL in serious builds, since they cost a lot of spirit to use.

For serious builds the Monk mantra actives arnt that big but I use Mantra of Healing on my more casual monk and together with the passive that reduces the cost it actually gives you a cheap big buffer to help tank.

Yes, the goblin is grabbing all the white items. I got a legendary early on from it but haven't gotten one since then.

Am i the only one who is a little scared of committing too much to fire skill damage, because itemization right now is basically all fire damage?

I'm sure this has been asked 1000 times before, so I'm sorry in advance. Does it make any difference on which difficulty I farm the Horadric Caches (legendary chance, etc.)?

Nope, makes no difference. Go normal mode and farm them superfast!
