You can get marginally better gear by dropping some of the AR in some of your slots, they don't really do much for int chars.
Isn't it a near perfect Barber? If that's garbage for MM/conflag then what else could I use besides TF?

Barber is fine for MM builds. idk how it compares straight up vs TF and its proc. But I wouldn't call it trash for MM.

I have been gambling for head lately, solely based on that being the only spot where I have a rare, but not even sure what I am hoping for, more than a unique with the same stats... But not really sure what I am going for in general. Some advice on where to bring my arcane build? I have been regarding vyrs 4-piece as the holy grail, but I I am starting to doubt a bit exactly how much of a difference that all-rune archon actually does. Or maybe I am growing bitter and have vyr-envy? And on another note, I just found my (awesome) moonlight ward, but I can't get the charges to explode a lot. Is there a trick? Anyone know exactly what triggers the charges to explode? IMO you should gamble for source first, because almost any leg would upgrade. Takes 333 shards on average for 1 leg. Aim for a good triumvate if you want to keep arcane. helm can be crafted if you are going arcane. aughild helm/shoulder should be easy to farm (like under 1 hour of play for both). After source, your options are chest/gloves/legs/boots, since you need vyrs set eventually. I would gamble gloves next because of the high drop rates. Magefist can give you a good upgrade (even for arcane) due to its 5 primaries, and it's nice to have the option to switch to fire. They drop every ~1400 shards which is close to the highest drop rate for any item from kadala
Where are you getting these Shard rate numbers from? I would LOVE to see that spreadsheet.

If i have a low amount of +cold (37%) and no other +element gear, but just found a +2 Mirrorball and have a 3.1k dps 1hand (must have IAS but i cant remember) sitting in the bank (which im not using cuz 20% Azurewrath and im running a cold build), am I gonna experience a dps loss switching to a different element cuz i have no other %ele damage gear? Or is the +2 Mirrorball so good i should switch to another build? I have a Light of Grace which is what I usually use

I have a 10/9/9 Triumvirate too, what should I do

just use glacial spike, its cold.

It'd be more helpful to see your profile. Stats are always relative.
Generally speaking, I'd say LoG is good if you have some APoC, high crit%, and a slow attack speed. MB is good if you want to run fire, or have lots of IAS, or if you have a good spender or secondary skill you want to use Trium is usually for arcane builds, since its one of the few options that give +arcane%

Not saying that sheets like this are not useful, but there is way too much assumptions and theorycrafting included.
I keep gambling weaspons as I want WoW, and so far I can tell you this:
~15k shards spent
chance for rare or magic wand: 30% (out of all rare weapons)
leg chance: 2%
leg wands: ZEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I keep track with excel sheet.
Ever since last patch when they increased chance that kadala gives class specific weapons I get a lot of them, but only magic and rare. From what I can see there must be bug, and it does not affect chance to get class specific legendary items.
Is it just me (0 wands and 20 swords/axes/maces) or should I stop gambling those?

Yes, you should stop gambling for weapons, it is too inefficient.

from patch notes: Kadala: Will now always give you weapon types that your character can equip with an emphasis on class specific weapon types
English is not my native language, but I understand this sentence that I cant get weapons I cant equip and that I should be getting more of class specific weapons.

Blue post:
In our next patch, Kadala will only give you items that you are able to equip, with a focus on class specific weapon type.
This will not change how she generates Legendary items, as those have always been class targeted. This is only a change to the rare items Kadala produces.

Is EE really worthwhile with this build? its a debuff, so itll give me 5% from fire on the single target that sparkflint hits (slower missile than MM too), and there's no lightning/arcane there at all. I'm also not sure of Audacity since 15 yards is fuckin tiny. I'll post profile when I get home from work.
The main question is, with this mirrorball is it better to go fire, or does the meager amount of +cold% I've collected lock me into cold til I get equal fire gear?

The (sheet) damage difference between my Azurewrath and the boring 3.1k dps legendary is huge, just wondering if thats worth switching to a conflag (pls explain) build

fire is better (it has better items, magefist, cindercoat, etc.), but use glacial spike until you collect fire elem dmg. i have never heard of anyone doing a cold mm build.

generally the crit and main stat roll on the 1hander+source combo makes up the dps loss compared to a 2hander, but it really depends on whether your build makes use of attack speed well. 2-handers have much higher per-hit damage compared to most 1-handers and thus for cd dependent builds, or ap hungry builds, 2handers have higher effective dps with some loss of utility from the source. but if you are going for a MM conflagrate build, then you want the attack speed, so you practically have to go mirrorball+fast 1hander.
for a frozen orb build a slow 2hander works fine, but it's not better than a good Sunkeeper + source. you can just try them all out and see which one you are more comfortable playing with.

Oh duh, its a 2 hander. its a Warmonger, why did I keep this? I looked it up and its basically guaranteed to roll shitty. cant get main stat and socket together. Definitely not using that. I'm actually really liking this cold MM build though! running evocation rather than audacity for the black hole cooldown (have no cdr on gear). EE plus Cold Blooded plus the dmg boost from Black Hole/Absolute Zero is givng me 4.5 mil Glacial Spikes, without any MM% on my Mirrorball. I really like it!

Your wiz would be a lot better if it was a mm/archon wiz with vyr's 4p. Your build is solid still but as far as completion goes you still have quite a bit of things you could do. Also, pretty sure you're a bit too squishy for t6.
