Well.. the expansion wont be out for like 10 months and they have retroactive paragon level point spending. So you're not really gaining much by quitting. I'm busy with school and don't have the time to play really, plus most of the ppl I play with before are taking a break. My gear has already dropped from top 15 to 40th or 50th wizard in the past 2 months, but most of the items retained its valuefunny thing is some of the pieces tripled in value. Anyways I figured its best to sell before ah closure nears since items will probably not fetch as good of a price. Oh if you are around chosen I still owe you 9 mil. It's hard to say what will happen with prices. Maybe gold drops will be boosted a lot for level 70 (and new inferno). Level 60 gear will always retain *some* value as it will be really good leveling gear. Still, probably best to sell off and get gold. I've decided to not buy any more gear (unless its a really good deal) and just start stockpiling money. But who knows, Blizzard hasn't even set a release date yet. The expansion could very well be released in 2015 based on Blizzard's release history. Some other notes/questions: - Should we save keys for the expansion? - Should we save organs for the expansion? - Demonic essences? - Tome of secrets? <-- this is probably the safest to stockpile, but again, who knows. - Gems should retain value but I wouldn't be surprised if there were new tiers (marquise not bound anymore?). Ladder reset. The ladder will start from 0 when expansion is released, most people will probably play it looking at how D2 worked. All your items, if ladder is released(which has been datamined) will be useless.
That's not entirely true, when the ladder season resets doesn't everything you had go to the normal mode? You don't just flat lose everything I thought.

Everything is moved to normal mode and the paragon exp is added to your normal mode paragon level. I think I read a blue post saying this, but just as a "this might be what we do" sort of thing.

Yes but since most people will play ladder if you look at how D2 was, they will effectively be useless or at the very least drop a lot in value.

I'm sure you find someone willing to run for Ubers with you, just might not be easy. Try the JSP forums or Bnet forums maybe

I do key runs still. Mp5 minimum (I prefere higher)
Douillos#2124 EU Server.
EDIT: oh your US sry ^^
|
Need your input on possible price to set on this ring I found on EU HC.
Edit: Why can't I see Diablo 3 under the sport-section? Did it get removed?
|
A Physical Monk would probably pay like 250-400mil for that. If it had attack speed then you would be talking in the 1b range but it does have a massive Avg damage roll so that really helps the value a bit. I would post it on JSP and put 200m RES, 500m BIN and see wut happens.

Most people will move to ladder, and so will crafting. At least thats how it worked in D2, where nobody was crafting on nonL which was already flooded with godlike items. OFC D2 did not have BoA items, but still...
The only 2 kinds of items have value on nonL: good PvP items and items with old affixes that were patched and no longer drop. About PvP items - most items will lose all of their value, only best (like literally best) will keep it. You will see that if there is currently Mempo for 2b and Mempo for 1b, then after reset Mempo 2b will remain same while Mempo 1b will drop to 20m or something...
But OFC even that is not true, because its HC here (so there wont be that much nonL PvP and PvP overall will never be focus), and level cap is going to go higher, which pretty much mean all items will be useless. Hardly anyone is going to be playing game on nonL, so even as leveling gear its out. The only purpose of nonL is PvP, PvE is simply waste of time. Overall you cant really expect any items to keep its value on HC nonL. On SC maybe some, and for sure later when resets wont come with increased level cap.
If you want something that will give you advantage after reset, then FG is IMHO the only safe bet. At the same time, its stupid... Ladder resets come to refresh game, if dont want that and want to start with old gear or get to your old gear right away, you might as well stay on nonL and save yourself some trouble. Or - you know - buy console D3.

so lvl 67 ... farming well ... nice kit ... thinks to self ... hey you played like 5 hours per day last 3 days on inferno where are the legendary drops?
Well let me tell you what the incorrect resolution to that question is
1) put it on mp1 to try. 2) use a open tp to go to kule the vaults 3) (and this is where it gets good) think oh shit what if its harsh and i need to use the portal out? 4) go through portal ... meet hundreds of bad guys 5) shit yourself and start running (yeah what about that portal? real men cry like girls whilst they run) 6) make it about 2 pixels before you die because you deserved it.
yeah
retard.
Use a waypoint next time fool.

It can still be re-added but is currently "hidden" under the "Other Games" section.
To change this, go into "TL Site Preferences" and then under the left bar with the sections you will see a small "Customize Sidebar" link. Click that and you will be able to customize each section individually and un-hide the diablo forum.
I also had this problem and went to Website Feedback to ask for an answer.

On another note. Anyone still playing HC?
I'm still playing weekly-ish and have my highest level paragon wizard yet: p48!

Yeah. On the US server. Small population still HCing. Hopefully ladders will get things booming later on.

Im just waiting for RoS to come out since all my progress will be made moot by the expansion anyway. I'm probably hop on fo a little bit when loot 2.0 is released though.
