Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

WHAT? That guy is actually Carol? Damn. I was baffled at the end of the episode why would they show so much of a random dude on a hospital bed and why would Beth be so intense. This makes a lot more sense now :D I was a little disappointed with Beth being so passive for most of the episode, I thought will all she went through she'd have more of a fighting spirit about her. Although that head shot streak when she almost escaped was pretty badass :D I am sure in another life all the characters were olympic level marksmen representing different countries every 4 years :D All in the dark in cramped space too with limited light.

You have to remember, it's been a couple years already. I'm sure there's been a lot of killings previous to that which boosted their marksmen stats.

Crossbow guy will go back to the hospital and kill everyone (or show Rick compassion or some shit). After that expect drama between Beth, Carol and crossbow guy. Fuck Crossbow guy lol. You don't know the name of most popular character in the show? It is Daryl.

Carol turn out to be a pretty good and badass character, she is like comics Andrea.

Well someone had to be after what Andrea turned into.

AMC is using its biggest show, "The Walking Dead," to pressure one of its biggest distributors, DirecTV, into giving it a lucrative contract renewal.
Yes, it's yet another fight over subscriber fees, but this one is threatening a show that 15 million people love to watch every week, and the channel is being pretty explicit about the behind-the-scenes tension.
AMC is using the "Dead" as leverage: on Sunday night it ran an ad during the show warning about a possible blackout later in the season. DirecTV ran a rebuttal ad of sorts, disputing what AMC said and suggesting that if there is a blackout, it'll be AMC's fault. The satellite company provides a bundle of channels to 20 million households, making it the country's second-biggest provider, behind Comcast. With the ad and a statement to the media, AMC seemed to be trying to rally viewers to its side. Subscriber fees are the critical source of revenue for companies like AMC's parent, AMC Networks.

Glad I don't have DirecTV, I don't need any extra drama to go with my Walking Dead

I dont really get that episode. So the police guys run the place and look for people to work for them and abuse them (slaves basically) ? And how did the girl who got her arm amputated end up dead in the office? First I thought the evil policemen killed her because she didnt want to get raped but that doesnt make any sense because then he 1. wouldve stabbed her in the head and 2. wouldve known that she was lying on that floor. Did she kill herself? Why would she do that in the office? Just to set a statement?

The women are used as basically sex slaves in order to keep the officers happy so the officers will maintain peace and order. The girl who got her arm amputated committed suicide in the leader's office so that she would reanimate and kill her when she got back to the office. It just happened that Gorman tried to rape Beth there, so Beth used the reanimated walker to get rid of Gorman.

Thats what I thought but if she wanted to kill the leader why didnt she do it, well, the normal way? Hide behind the door and stab her when she walks in? The chances of killing her as a walker are acutally quite low.
Her main motive must have been the suicide and maybe just to set a statement and for the little chance of killing the leader she must have done it in the office. Atleast thats the only way it kinda makes sense to me.

Fairly obvious I'd say. AMC seems like they want to milk this series and Eugene presents a way to end it.
Therefore, I settled on him either being the real deal and meeting his end this season, or he's a phony. The latter just seemed like the more interesting choice and in this ep it became incredibly obvious once I found out he sabotaged the bus.

At least he got to style on those walkers with the fire hose.

I saw it coming too :X Ive been thinking about that for a long time but this Episode, from the very beginning ("Previously on walking dead... " <- that part focused way too much on Eugene, showing stuff about him that happened 3 episodes ago) hinted at it waaaay too much.

Non-comic reader.I saw that coming from a mile away not just this episode, and I wasn't even thinking at all about show viability.
It's hard to explain how I suspected it, but every single time from the first or 2nd episode I saw them in I suspected it strongly. I think it's because he was "useless", so it fits, plus he would oftentimes talk about how information is classified, and always had a depressed and guilty look on his face (good job by the actor I suppose).
Maybe other viewers suspected it really early on too, but I would think that it wasn't too many people; I like to think that I'm smart.

I dunno, the story sounded really unbelievable the first time Eugene was introduced, he's just not convincing as a scientist-type. I guess I figured all three of them were in on it together, but as the show wore on with no hint that the trio were actually bad guys, I ended up accepting that maybe he was telling the truth and they just did a poor job of casting his character.

Finally the comic book truth is out!
