Universal Spoiler Alert!
Top Ten List of Most Important/ Influential Females on Suits.
+ Show Spoiler +
I tried my best to come up with the ten most influential female characters on Suits. It's based on the furthering of plots and sub-plots, relevance and relationships with other characters, and just general storyline appeal (e.g., could Suits survive without this character and her effects on everyone and everything?). I hope you enjoy it!
#10. + Show Spoiler +
The woman we never see, and she's only mentioned occasionally throughout the first few seasons. The reason why she's even on the list is due to the devastation caused to Louis by her death, as well as her secretarial relationship with Donna. At the end of season four, we see him completely break down and even hallucinate because of her death. This (along with Donna and Harvey's fight over "I love you") sets the wheels in motion for Donna to help Louis out as his new secretary. (If this list was created before her death, she would have been too irrelevant to include.)

Played by Jacinda Barrett, the real-life wife of Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter), she's one of the first characters who opens us up to the softer side of Harvey. While she's not instrumental to much of the storyline, she shows that Harvey is capable of affection, especially when he shows up at her doorstep with flowers. Contributing to the emotional growth of Harvey, as well as her lawyer background and occasional cameos, gives her enough credit in my book to place her as number nine. (Another fun fact: Zoe's niece in the show is Jacinda and Gabriel's real-life daughter!)
#8. + Show Spoiler +
Jenny, Mike's oldest female friend and eventual love interest, has helped Mike keep his good intentions and not turn into Trevor 2.0. She's undoubtedly the sweetest and purest girl on the show, and back when Rachel was acting incredibly bipolar, it was a bit disheartening that Mike chose Rachel over this girl next door. She's definitely the kind of friend that Mike had needed in his life though, especially growing up.
#7. + Show Spoiler +
Periodically, we see the relationship between Scottie and Harvey flourish and reflourish, and even hear about their history together. Them working together during the Darby merger actually made for an interesting plot twist. Unlike Zoe, Scottie is a girl that Harvey eventually opens up to about as many secrets as possible- including Mike's secret. Unfortunately, it seems like it's too little too late, and we see Scottie disappear and get married.
#6. + Show Spoiler +
She just has to be up this high. She truly is Female Louis. For Louis to ask for her hand in marriage and to even consider leaving the firm shows the kind of commitment that Louis had for her. One of the most emotional scenes of the show is when they're in his office, he asks her "Please don't make me leave my family", she says she'll more to New York... and then he mentions how they're going to have amazing children together. It's got to be the biggest roller coaster of emotions on the show so far- to go from such a celebratory high to such a devastating low. In fact, go watch it again, somehow: "Heartburn", Season 3, Episode 14.
#5. + Show Spoiler +
The woman who raised Mike, complete with wisdom beyond her years, Mike's grandmother was constantly the voice of reason and the angel on Mike's shoulder, especially in regards to Trevor and Rachel. She was the only on-screen character who passed away, and the devastation Mike feels for working instead of spending time with her creates a breakdown where even Harvey immediately supports him. Both figuratively and literally, Mike wouldn't exist without his grandma.

I had originally put Katrina as #7 behind Sheila and Scottie and Edith, but I feel like Katrina-lovers would have tarred and feathered me for putting her so low. I took a step back, reflected, and realized that, while Scottie was primarily affecting Harvey and Sheila was primarily affecting Louis and Edith was primarily affecting Mike, Katrina stirred up emotions with multiple characters. She butts heads with Mike and Harvey and Donna and Jessica, just because she wants to be valued and feel appreciated. She's later seen as an asset and friend to characters like Mike, and her bond with Louis is undeniable. She elicits confidence and self-worth in Louis that he barely knew he had, and it's easy to root for that ex-pair. It would definitely be wonderful to see her again playing for Team Louis!
#3. + Show Spoiler +
With the exception of her single kryptonite that is Jeff Malone, she's always the smartest person (not just woman) in the room, and is more than capable of putting Harvey, Donna, Louis, Mike, Rachel, and anyone else in their place. Granted, it's because she's in charge, but Harvey wouldn't be the successful lawyer he is if it weren't for Jessica's charity and tutelage. Preferring respect over fear- but knowing that she'd rather have the latter than neither- she tries to get Harvey and Louis to play nice, to make sure Mike doesn't completely screw over the firm with his secret, and let the other ladies know that she's the top dog.
#2. + Show Spoiler +
For the first few seasons, she often did more harm than good when it came to relationships, sub-plots, and solving problems; she was the hot, flaky, bipolar love interest of Mike. Over the past dozen episodes or so, however, she's clearly evolved into a character with a little more common sense, especially in terms of communicating with Mike. Her involvement with the other main characters is undeniable, and I feel that she has more relationships that are both professional and emotional than Jessica does (who primarily needs to focus on the former). She's also the reason why Robert Zane- her father- is a relevant character, which is a win in my book.
#1. + Show Spoiler +
She's Donna. It's like a name and a title in one. She knows everything. She's got the attitude, confidence, swagger, whatever you want to call it. She knows when and how to manipulate people, and when and how to be their best friend or the voice of reason or to be the hard truth when it's deserved. She's respected and appreciated by everyone, and the relationships she has with each other character are unique and dynamic, from Shakespeare with Louis to the history with Harvey. Donna's love for Harvey has been a consistent theme throughout the show, from the mock trial to Stephen Huntley to now working with Louis. She's one of the most interesting characters on the show. And why shouldn't she be? After all, she's Donna.
Feedback is appreciated Let me know how accurate you think the list is, based on importance/ influence. (Also, it was surprisingly difficult to come up with good video clips from YouTube... none of my ideal scenes were available for pasting, silly USA network.) Thanks in advance!

I highly recommend not looking at the last few pages of the thread until you've seen the latest episode, for obvious reasons.
Didn't see a thread about it, and I thought, hey, why doesn't the greatest community have a thread about one of the most enjoyable series?! (IMO)
Season 2/3 is just about to start(Jan 17th), with a new episode coming out every Thursday!
*'Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) is a brilliant college dropout. Mike's childhood dream of becoming an attorney was derailed after he was caught selling a math exam to the Dean's daughter. Naturally intelligent and with an eidetic memory, Mike makes a living taking tests for other people, particularly LSATs.
Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) is one of New York City's top attorneys who has recently been promoted to senior partner at his firm, and is forced by company policy to hire an associate.''-------------
