I guess she could claim that she wasn't under oath, and lied to the bar in NY, but that would presumably be grounds for disbarring Mike (if we even allow for the suspension of disbelief that he passed the bar in the first place). Either way, seems like Gibbs could easily go after Jessica now.

For the first time ever in the history of this show, viewers can watch while knowing we won't have any "he never went to law school so he's not actually a lawyer" bs that always brings the mood down somehow. Yeah, I totally wouldn't mind a few cases that are really just a straightforward Harvey-and-Mike-finding-smart-ways-to-kick-ass-and-build-up-their-brand-again. On March 05 2017 12:18 Gahlo wrote: I dunno. Yeah, the season won't be "omg, Mike is a fraud, how do we stop them from knowing!" and more "Mike and Harvery kick ass", but I'm questioning how I'll like it when it isn't a mix of both like the early seasons. I have a feeling that we're not finished with stupid soap opera bullshit, even if it's a different distraction than the Mike-didn't-go-to-law-school premise. One of the biggest teasers was definitely the build up that Donna is tired of *only* being a secretary... that she wants to become an entrepreneur and businesswoman, and she might leave Harvey's side (which, I suppose, means that Harvey and Donna could potentially start dating- more drama, of course- since Donna's rule was that they can't be together as long as she's working for him).

"I'm not sure I really know you Louis?"... duh? Please get these characters back to kicking some ass I think the Donna/ Benjamin/ AI is a setup for Donna wanting to become more than just a secretary (see previous comment), but as far as Louis/ Tara is concerned, I'm not really sure what the significance of that is. Maybe Louis spirals downwards again, which makes it even easier for Harvey to take control over the firm instead of just equal partners with Louis? That's what Mike insisted too... that Harvey put his big boy pants on and move into Jessica's office.

If the AI shit is really a setup for a more interesting Donna subplot next season, I'm fine with it . Also, glad the Tara storyline took care of itself. And finally, omg Jessica. Her magnificent regal presence just makes the show so much better. Overall it was a great half-season. I may have harped on the mediocre storylines for Donna and Louis, but the other characters were all very enjoyable to watch. Rachel is finally coming into her own too. The show is better when she generally takes the backseat and has her own moments of glory sprinkled in there. Harvey is still the star of the show for me.

On March 06 2017 09:30 evilfatsh1t wrote: yeah i was under the impression donna's business thing was basically a metaphor for her wanting more with harvey That could very well be the case, but I'd imagine it would also be a little hypocritical of her, given the fact that Harvey has repeatedly wanted to start things with her, but she's repeatedly declined because they're coworkers. I think that Donna would be happy to date Harvey if she wasn't working for him, and I think that that would be an added benefit to her becoming her own businesswoman, but personally I still think that her need for fulfillment- and her initial reason for being interested in The Donna AI and entrepreneurship with Benjamin and Stu- was to make something more of herself professionally. But we'll see! I can't imagine Harvey without Donna as his secretary.
