Between "Keep summer safe", Mister Poopypants, the cameo of Jemaine from flight of the concords, the dark twist in some episodes, Jerry's daycare...
Top 5 rated episodes on IMDB, 4 are from season two (might be because of their freshness) Although two of my favorite episodes are in the lowest rating. The pilot and Anatomy Park.
Raising gazorpazorp has also its moment when it goes very on the feminazism...
The best part about the show is viewing it as a parody of Dr. Who. And ending of second 2, episode 3 and "operation phoenix is a no go!", I'm along for the entire ride.

They completely went full self conscious on the sequal thing. And my god did they come up with some good shit in the transdimensional television. The whole Jerry arc was also great. Parts where I lost it: the How they do it, bit where they explain how to make a Plumbus. The other part was where they were doing the operation. We need nanodoctors!

Indeed! It was the rare moment when I really Laughed Out Loud. Here is this brilliant moment:
imo ep 8 sucked, which is a shame. Usually shows have side stories, but this side story was just watching tv, i mean there were some funny moments, but overall it's just so lazy. Maybe it's just something i'm not getting, but i usually enjoy this show, so..
Also, Mortys character... at first he was so good, this anti-michael bay, insecure kid. But now he's just, idk, a twat?

Surely, you don't expect him to be the same insecure kid after seeing the vastness of the universe and seeing all that crazy shit happening.
Also seems pretty normal to me that he's a bit of a dick now. Teenage angst and shit. Constant masturbation. Bickering with his sister all the time. Sounds like a normal teenager to me at least.

Well, yeah, that makes sense. Well, I'm gonna watch ep 9 and see how things develop. I guess it's only natural they that they'd eventually get a(imo) bad episode, after the quite unreal string of amazing episodes.
I think the "bad" episode was mostly a critique on how spoonfed our television-watching-massproduction/consuming society actually is. That and the vainness of our genitals and own sexuality. They lay it out hard before the episode starts with the here's the sequal, line, and then go over the top with the twerking assflaps for 10 seconds or something. The entire show is based on pointing out double standards that are common practice and being self-conscious about certain stuff too. They know they had a huge success with the first interdimensional tv episode, so they "milk" it just because the bad reputation sequals have. Lo and behold: people bicker about the laziness of the episode and the unfunny jokes used. I'm sure you've noticed the plumbus creation with its close relation to porn/sexual references, or the parody on cliche over the top action movies with some intricate plot that doesn't make any sense that was posted here before.
I don't really see a big problem with this episode. You guys give some fair critique, but I think that's just underestimating Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland (maybe I'm overestimating them). It may be a little less in line with the episodes of this season, but it certainly is on par with last season. Also, the big houseparty episode with Abradolf Linkler and the episode with all the imaginated familymembers/friends sees absolutely no critique due to an overlap in theme.
Rewatched the finale for the second time. Somehow I'm in peace with it. I would say Rick's face was kind of cathartical in the end. And his answer "Everything" too.
Jesus christ that finale is going to ruin my entire day. Just fucking.... god dammit Rick, I rely on your constant goings on in the world despite your nihilistic views to keep going myself. ;_;

I believe the network forced them to do another inter dimensional tv episode, which is why they kinda went off on how it was stupid idea in the beginning. That said it got stale really fast and I bet they didn't put too much time into it since The Man made them do it.

I actually re-watched it, and I can now see that them fooling around led to some hilarious voice acting. Octopus-man literally killed me. That was about it for me tho
