Cast: Antony Starr Ivana Milicevic Ulrich Thomsen Frankie Faison Hoon Lee Rus Blackwell (see IMDB for the rest! )
Personal opinion: This show have the same fast and furious pace of Breaking Bad, Game of Throne's nudity, Dexter's violence, and the masculinity of Mad Men. I would suggest it if you are into twists and shock shows but again if you are under 18, please read the warning sign up top.
This is a great show, when is the next season coming out? I like how it's set in the real world but it's still kind of a fantasy world with evil mafia people everywhere.
PS: If you are the kind of person that likes to question plotlines & logic of story, please stay far away.
Yeah, a friend of mine told me about this show. He said it was filled with porn/sex scenes, which in the first seasons pretty much is. But later on, it's getting a lot less (which makes sense).
I like this show a lot. Great action and awesome character Next season will come out around beginning of 2015 i suppose.
this show is back up if no body knows. season 3 is going strong and being promoted all over the west coast / was the last 2 months.
its honestly a tragedy that no body else thinks this show is as good as it really is. i can safely say shows like walking dead don't hold a candle to this show. this is probably my current favorite show and gives me the same chills that breaking bad, game of thrones, dexter, arrow (which can be argued if it's on the same level) give me. alot more on the darker side, but makes the heartfelt struggles feel so much more meaningful.
based on a comic book as well like TWD, the TWD comic is great, the hype has died as far as the progression of plot goes as i'm currently caught up. but this show is also from the producers of i believe HBO who worked on shows like True Blood.
lots of great sex scenes, diversity in characters, plot is great, fillers don't really feel like fillers and generally have a purpose, tons of fucking action while all of it being relevant unlike the movie john wick. you get a grim reality of how life plays out when 1 mistake is made and associations are portrayed and a main lead that is so badass. as irrelevant as it may sound to the male crowd, i am actually touched by the struggle of the leading protagonist in his quest to hold onto what he found as love. alot to note, the show promotes the empowerment of women entirely without it feeling like writers are simply doing it to bend backwards for the opposite gender. i love the diversity of the female cast including the fact most of them are hot as F*ck while having actresses that don't have plastic surgery or fake large boobs.
recent episode was amazing. the portrayal of an ex-nazi wanting to change for the good is ridiculed and mocked to death by most notably a woman that's a black attorney. showing the shift in what is now considered the new despicable stigma (ex-nazi, a hick) which was once focused on the black race (and still is but less of it) and women. the power in it was the fact she was capable of understanding his situation and it was not too distant in the past that it was just like that for her. ultimately to trust a man who has tattoos of nazi symbols everywhere and to trust the very thing that attempts to enslave and genocide mankind because you yourself has experienced the hate, is beautiful. the stereotypes, racism and hate i'd argue is now more focused on LGBT, and Nazi's or red-necks / terrorist than it is imo on race, and i love the show capitalizes on that with this one scene.
Man this show is crazy good, can't believe this thread isn't crawling with life after every episode. Every episode so far this season has been thrilling and feels like a season finale.
Dear god ep 8, just dear god so good. Last few episodes are going to be very interesting for the season and I shall be very interested in the direction in which it all goes.
Love this show. I'm always surprised by how little discussion it gets. I guess a lot of people just don't have Cinemax. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this whole story with the black ops/base robbery plays out. Might finally be time to get some more backstory for Hood. Also, is next season confirmed to be the last one?
This latest season was amazing. My favorite season so far. At least 4-5 episodes were "finale" quality by themselves.
This show seems a bit under the radar and I don't know why, it is better than the majority of shows out right now. Violence, sex and overall "badassery". What is not to like?
The plot is set 2 years in the future but they did a nice job of explaining some of the most important things that came to pass in that time. Still some things remain unresolved.

The way they set up this season do we have to assume the Serial Killer is a character we already know??? Also do you think we will get Hood's real name by the end, since this is the final season?
