Story: Only a short time after the first raid, Rama goes undercover with the thugs of Jakarta and plans to bring down the syndicate and uncover the corruption within his police force.
looks ok-ish. I dislike that baseball bat scene though, it's cool but damn how fake it is to see someone getting hit by baseball bat repeatedly and still standing up and taking it all.
It's obviously not meant to be super realistic and is more about intense, well-choreographed fight sequences. Pretty fresh as action movies go and it's seriously well shot. Would highly recommend both this and the first to anyone who enjoys the genre. The trailer doesn't do it justice.
Lots of cool action, but the plot is never more than just serviceable, with very few flashes of greatness that quickly get lost in the shuffle. Here's hoping Baseball Boy and Hammer Girl get a spin-off movie!
The movie was great, but not as good as the first, in my opinion. The sequel is much more story based, and is longer, which isn't bad. It reminds me of the old school Asian gangster movies, but with more violence. The fight choreography and cinematography is outstanding, especially Rama's fight in the kitchen and Mad Prakoso's fight in the night club and alley.
