I can't find a thread for this show yet, do I just suck at searching?
If not, then please discuss here! In case you haven't seen this show yet, I highly recommend it. Not only is it great right now, it has so many possibilities with interesting story progression in the future with the growth of the company.
But how exactly can we quantify this show's contribution to mankind? Let's break it down into its three component elements:
But seriously, it's a pretty good show. Go watch it.
2nd season got off to a great start. Best quote: “I don't know about you, but I don’t want to live in a world where someone else makes the world a better place than we do.”
I'm sad about the actor for Peter Gregory and the character too. The Peter Gregory/Gavin Belson rivalry seemed like it would have been an awesome side plot. Don't really like the new aspergers-y girl. Seems too similar to Peter Gregory for me.
Loved the dude freaking out in the bar, that was a lovely moment.
A probabilistic model is introduced for the problem of stimulating al arge male audience.
Double jerking is considered, in which two shafts may be stimulated with a single hand. Both tip-to-tip and shaft-to-shaft configurations of audience members are analyzed. We demonstrate that pre-sorting members of the audience according to both shaft girth and leg length allows for more efficient stimulation. Simulations establish steady rates of stimulation even as the variance of certain parameters is allowed to grow, whereas naive unsorted schemes have increasingly flaccid performance.
Since I can assume everyone here also watches Game of Thrones and got into the show because they were too drunk and/or lazy to change the channel, I'll ask this question:
Who's a worse spiritual adviser: Melisandre or the Indian guy at Hooli?
Also, love the set-up for next season when Raviga becomes the villain and Richard and Gavin Belson might actually now need each other. They'll go from enemies to bros in the third season, putting them in competition for the title of "best bros" with Jaime/Bronn and Tyrion/Jorah. And the unknown setup when Bighead becomes the ultimate villain. You can't even step to him when he perfects his potato cannon.
anyways, a solid season. I'm very satisfied with the general flow looking forward--they really have progressed the show appropriately. Pied piper is still small, but s3 the series will set up for full launching (and internal problems involved with growth). It's a damn good quality show, and not just for people in technical fields.
I bought this for in flight entertainment while in Korea, such a good show. I am curious where they are going to go in S2, but I have faith in Mike Judge.
Oh nice, im stilling catching up on season 2 as i forgot about season 2 was released...many moons ago haha. I love it, nerds with no lifeskills with million dollar ideas :D

Yes, the show is for the people who are too drunk and lazy to change after Game of Thrones, which is about 20% of the viewers.
ah I wish I had thought to look for a Silicon Valley thread. Richard face planting on action jacks desk made me lol ridiculously hard. I felt like the little kid in Big Daddy. that and Jareds quip about Dinesh analing his mom..
Zatic, yea - they're starting over, but they definitely have learned from past experiences on how to move forward with the new company. And at least it's a working product with users already!
Great episode though, I really loved it - I feel like re-watching everything again.
I love this show, and the fourth season is shaping up pretty good so far. Also alot of the publicity for this movie is actually also pretty fun to watch, although it gives youtube the wrong idea of what to suggest.
